Traditional stewed turmeric chicken Ala kampung
Ingredients
1 chicken cut into pieces
Salt, soy sauce, sugar to marinate
Ingredients to be blended
1 bombay onion
6 cloves of garlic
2 lemongrass
30g galangal
5 candlenuts
2 tbsp coriander powder
1.5 tsp turmeric powder
Green chillies
Coconut milk
Salt, mushroom granules/ or msg, sugar to taste

Hi, may I know the dilution of the 300ml coconut milk? Tqvm for the lovely recipe. 😮

You first extract 100ml thick coconut milk from one grated coconut. Then add water for 2nd extract of 300ml. If you use packet ones(200ml) add 100ml water to make up to 300ml. Use another packet 100 ml coconut milk lastly. It all depends on how thick you want, it doesn’t matter.
