I had the extreme luck of seeing Prince live in concert twice during my lifetime! He was not just an icon, he was a musical genius! He played ALL the instruments oi n his first album, and he had a great sound right from the start! He was as much of a showman as he was a singer during his concets!! What a fantastic show he would put on!! BEST CONCERTS OF MY ENTIRE LIFE & I AM A CONCERT CONCIERGE!!! His preformance of "Purple Rain" at the Academy Awards, where it won the Oscar for movie soundtrack that year, was totally amazing, he preformed the song with his band The Revolution. Purple Rain will live forever in the hearts of music lovers everywhere in the world! The only time I saw him preform that was just as good as my concert experiences was his preformance of Purple Rain at the Superbowl halftime show in the POURING RAIN!!! HE WAS PHENOMENAL, THEN NOW, ALWAYS AND FOREVER!!!! WE MUSS YOU PRINCE!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Omg what a blessing !!! Ur. Wry lucky!! I wish I could’ve !! When he was here in Miami for superbowl I was bedridden and very pregnant w a high risk pregnancy 😩
I loved Prince! Incredibly talented, like Elvis and Michael Jackson; I always knew he'd end as they did, tragically. His talent was a rare gift, and He'd accomplished so much...I wonder what else he would have done! R. I. P. Prince Rogers Nelson. Spread your Angel's wings and fly high! You are loved and missed!
It's funny. I KNEW when his plane had to emergency land in Napier, IL...I KNEW he'd 8 OD'd and needed NARCAN. When he died, I knew it was drug related. Chronic pain is a terrible thing to deal with. I was on opiods for 13 years. Never had a problem; and now I just deal with it. No pain meds.
I miss Prince so much. Seems like since he died things just seem so messed up. I wish he was still here right now because he would give us great guidance.
For everyone reading - please take time to get your living will and trust matters in order & discuss, sort and organize with the nearest and dearest ones.
He did have a will...the "gate-keepers" destroyed it. So they could get what they came for....over his dead body...after they put him in the elevator...His Money and His Music!!!
Trust and reputation matters. Indeed, addiction risk is there for everyone, unless one is willing to experience some pain indefinitely by incrementally lowering the dosage over time.
@gayjo the stigma that ppl 1. were afraid to subscribe their own medication to their own name, 2. Why society give a name /addiction/ when someone is taking painkillers lifelong, if they have a lifelong illness. If some1 needs to shot insuline for diabetes nobody call them addict.
He came into my office to talk when he was traveling on his bike. He wanted some "direction" to his future. I suggested he do what he wanted. He left on his bike towards California.
He did it all: all instruments (heavy metal lead even), voice, compose, dance, direct, act, arrange, he's a notch, just a bit above Michael Jackson but all these talents are all from God. God bless, Rev. 21:4
Prince was a amazing man and his music was so dam amazing he is a legend 💕🕺🎤👡🎸 and he looked good in high heels. 😍 people can say a lot bad things about you when you are dead crazy.
Well, that sadly sums it up. So painful on many levels. Prince and his private secrecy. Unfortunately, physicians and pharmacists don't stress how quickly the body becomes addicted to Opioids-too many, yes, people in the camp. I am a forever Prince fan, but he was the culprit of his demise. Purchasing even drugs on the black market and obtaining prescriptions from multiple professionals with ethical issues can and did prove deadly.
After his parents divorced he lived with his mother. After a while had to move out because of the new husband. When he was 12 years old his father threw him out. He called him and plead with him for hours to take him back. After they were done with talking Price cried for two hours at the phone boot. This is how his troubled life started.
What kills me is… cause of his faith, he could not have surgery or medical help for himself or his child that passed… but yet he was taking lots of pain killers….go figure..he’s human after all…
Rest in peace Prince he is was one of most talented musicians .He was great singer , dancer, and songwriter. His songs both of the one who him sing himself and one who other artists covered are good.
I never liked Prince but know as a chronic pain sufferer all you want is to feel good he was able to get pain meds because of his money and connections. Tom Petty was one of my favorite artist that died in a similar fashion Id probably do the same thing constant pain is no joke
Does anyone REALLY believe that a 57 year old man who was controlling about all aspects of his business, publishing and finances, with no wife and no children, would not have had a will filed somewhere? Same with Aretha Franklin I swear some funny business happened behind the scenes with their estates. Those two did NOT play about their money.
Agreed. I believe someone was after his vault of unreleased music/lyrics and took him out to get it. How does a guy who fought the establishment end up dead in an elevator? Just don’t believe this story.
I gave him. Piggy back ride twice, he liked it because he said it made him feel taller. He said " man, this is nothing like wearing my high heel boots that Tom Cruze sell me " ;)
Darn, okay guy's, you got me. I feel cornered and have to admit, I meet Prince too, twice! I value my privacy so please don't ask me for details.....but I did meet him, twice. He was one really cool Prince and OMG the ladies he rolled with, dam!
It is interesting how both Prince and Tom Petty died of the same type of overdose and both had hip problems. Tom was supposed to have had a full hip break, but was somehow able to complete a recent tour. Maybe their similar connections led to the musical collaboration on When My Guitar Weeps, and I wonder if they had similar doctors or prescriptions.
Warren Lightning thanks for clearing that up. I actually know that. I thought that person meant “why don’t Jehovah’s Witnesses have their blood taken and stored”. The ruling council have changed their minds on a few things in the last thirty years. Receiving a donated organ used to be a no no, but not now because the organ can now be ‘washed’. They include the liver in this. In my opinion this is hypocrisy. Also if they have chosen this piece of law from Leviticus what about other Leviticus laws such as taking a child who has offended you to the city gates and stoning him/her to death?
The universe is a bastard like that. It gives prodigies like Prince so much it has to even out the balance by taking it all away early. What an artist, what a performer. Such a consciousness will return again at another time I'm sure, and perhaps this time will be a struggling, flawed genius no one will ever recognise
heres the problem i have with this little docu on prince... nothing is documented and everything is hear say. thats why he keeps saying. reportedly, some say, rumor has it.... you had no facts at all. so we really do not know if any of this is true.
Anna Stacia Parker don’t want to burst your bubble but it is true. No reason to think less of the man. He just struggled with a disease that affects people of all class, all income brackets and all levels of intelligence. There’s no shame in being and addict. Addiction is a disease.
It is not true . PRINCE was not addicted to anything. This is the media trying to tarnish his image in the only way they know. If people really followed this man ,his music and the truth he was telling, they can figure out what was really going on instead of believing the same media he always had issues with,to the point he once quit speaking to them.
Somebody switched those pills because he would have NEVER taken fentanyl. It was shocking that he decided to do what would be his last show in Atlanta because it had been YEARS since he played here and that was one CRAZY night outside of the Fox theater in that long line even though me and my Uncle didn't get in the door and were overprofiteered out of tickets by the staff.
I studied with the Jehovah Witnesses for six years. In the end I decided not to join. The reasons were: Can't have a blood transfusion. I had already had 8 pints for back surgery in 1976. Secondly, You can't celebrate America as a nation or country. No pledging the flag. Can't honor our U.S. military veterans, including attending their funerals. Can't celebrate Memorial Day, Veteran's Day, Fourth of July . *I'm from a family of vets as are most people my age due to the draft. I love our nation's history and flag, and am a historian with a degree in History. Can't celebrate our Lord's Birthday, Christmas. Can't celebrate any birthday including your own. Can 't celebrate any holidays including the Eucharist Easter. Can't accept communion at church. Door to door missionary work is required not a choice. In 2013 I had a L hip replacement and had to have 4 pints of blood. In 2018 I had cancer and had to go through 3 blood transfusions in the hospital due to low red blood cells from chemotherapy . *If I was a witness I would've been crippled and then dead due to an aggressive form of breast cancer. I'm currently getting ready for a r. hip replacement. Yes, if I chose to be a Witness I would've suffered needlessly when modern medical intervention was available. Then I would've been dead, when modern medical intervention was again available for the Type 3, Stage 3 cancer I had. Again, I would be in a wheel chair for a r. hip replacement I'm currently waiting for. God doesn't want us to die for him, he wants us to live for him.
Ok next!!! He's not the first of everything negative that you reported. Prince woke up and realized the record company was making more money than he. When writing his own music, why not fight for his right. Slavery was over. Why try defame the man after he's gone. He was set up with those dam pills. I don't think he knew what he was taking would kill him instantly. Prince was very self conscious about his health. His death still to this day seems fishy. Yeah a brilliant song writer, singer, and a musician that played 27 instruments. Who tops that? I'll wait. He was his own boss. What's wrong with that? Nothing!!! One of a kind that always at his shows his microphone was be on. Lip sync was a no no. He performed every time. He gave the people their money worth. These singers and rappers lip sync on every occasion. Really🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔💯
3 at Minimum for sure. Says he was “Cremated and BURIED within 2 Days of his death”. WRONG (seeing that his Urn & Ashes were on Display for awhile at Paisley Park Tours). Too many other things wrong to go into detail, but this stood out enough for me to comment on (since I have been in the funeral business for over 30 years)
@@satis7561 The reason why I say they didn't get along is because a producer that worked with both of them on the radio said that every time something bad happen to Michael Jackson in the newspaper Prince would cut it out and mail it to him. Also every time something bad happen to Prince in the newspaper Michael Jackson would cut it out mail to him. Its true a producer said all this
I worked for him ten years ago and yes! Very intense. Can't describe his personality as anything but a Wild Card. It wasn't bad just always on your toes when he was backstage. I miss him though. 🖤
Prince IS the musical genius of the era and complaints about how him as a human being handled such essence, of course leaves average just good-in-what-they-do humans, ignorantly claiming he was whatever, and this note on him tries to build a brief note of this Trumph of man into internet flash crap.. if the writers of this article were worthy of him they'd be Nobel Prize winners instead of making junk out of facts.
Clean Fentanyl is about 100 times the strengths of morphine, Buprenorphine the addiction treatment drug about 50 times the strenght of morphine. To compare Oxycodone is dubble strengths of morphine and good Heroine about ca. 10 times the strength of morphine.
