Just getting power, water and internet back after the Hurricane hit us here in Houston. It was a doozy! Missed Amazon Prime day, but there are more days coming. What’s the difference between the flail mower Vs the mulcher for your tractor? Pros and cons to each?

Flail is more for grass and small brush. It's used to maintain, not necessarily "clear" new ground. The mulcher is for dense overgrown areas and heavy brush/trees.

I noticed on the mini excavators a Leppo sticker they are a big bobcat dealer in Northern Ohio. They must have dealerships in Florida!.

This has been the worst year ever, no matter where I go. However the pines don't seem to be a problem, it's definitely the tall grass areas.

@@TKCL Oh I'd say back in 2009 we did a National Guard 2 week drill in Ft. Riley KS and those poor guys that crawled through that tall grass were pulling ticks off like nobody's ever seen.

Do any of those dead pines have fat lighter in them? Just as an FYI: using your mini ex bucket to push things in a side to side motion will wear out the pin and bushings quicker and it can become quite annoying to hear the bucket slapping against the pin constantly once the bushing gets really worn. I know, I know...most times it's so convenient to be able to sweep with the bucket.

These pines are too small for much if any lightered to have formed. The one thing I noticed immediately on the Bobcat was the huge bushing surface area.

@@TKCL I wondered if the pines were too small. Not sure if a larger bushing surface will do anything to reduce the slop once the bushing get worn but pushing limbs and such shouldn't be a problem. It's when you try to sweep large mounds of material that put a strain on it. As my husband is forever telling me, the bucket is meant for forward and backward movements, not side to side. 😉
