Tutorial installation of Trail Tech stator and regulator/rectifier on a KTM 300XCW 2010 motorcycle.
After installation, the electrical system will produce 100W of DC power available for lights or other accessories.
Includes instructions for two optional modifications:
Side Case Guard Mod: Removes lower half of side case guard. Helps reduce debris build up and allows easier removal of side case and E-start motor. This mod is not required for proper stator operation.
Oil Cooling Mod: Outlines how to add oil to a 2 stroke side case. Adding oil will help cooling performance during extreme or extended rides. This mod is not required for proper stator operation.

You can solder the original stator to produce more electricity google it it's super simple, all that is needed is the regulator.

This would be Trail Tech's SR-8312 high output stator kit. On this 2010 300XC-W a battery is not required as this bike already has a battery on it from the factory because it is electric start.

How do you adjust the timing? The manual incorrectly displays this part as it shows the stator mounted to the motor, NOT the cover

hi there... i fell off my ktm 300 exc... i now have no spark... what wires coming from the stator have power when kicked over? thanks

What year is your bike? It take it is an AU version? Is it the stock stator or our Trail Tech stator?

is it possible to put a electric start on a KTM exc 200 2010 ?

It is possible. KTM offered some electric start kits at one time for them. You may need to shop around and see if you can find one. If you can then all you need to do is upgrade your electrical system to a DC system and you will be good to go. The DC system would require a new stator, reg/rec, wire harness and battery.

Justin Yancy Look I have only one installation guide, I did exactly everything, but the problem that the battery is not charging, lights work, not happened, could send an electrical diagram to see if I committed any error. thx

Will this mode help with cold start on KTM freeride 250R at winter?

+spayn I am sorry but this will not help with cold starts. All the high output stator kit does is provide more available power for running accessories. If you want higher cold cranking amps for cold starts I would recommend a better battery. Maybe a Lithium battery.

è da un anno che ho lo statore maggiorato ... con il faro trailtech da febbraio ... il mio avvitatore è pure battente e il suo no.. l'olio nel carter non serve a un cazzo .. io l'ho sigillato da sempre , pure il buco di sfiato sotto ... invece è buona l'idea di tagliare il carterino di plastica .. ma mi sono rotto il cazzo dell'avviamento cinese .. adesso lo tolgo del tutto ... ci si vede giovedì ..vengo a prendere il mono di maurizio e la batteria verde ... ciaoo
