"In 2008, Burns wrote to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice: "Ukrainian entry into NATO is the brightest of all redlines for the Russian elite (not just Putin). In more than two and a half years of conversations with key Russian players, from knuckle-draggers in the dark recesses of the Kremlin to Putin’s sharpest liberal critics, I have yet to find anyone who views Ukraine in NATO as anything other than a direct challenge to Russian interests."
It‘s very simple: the times where autocratic bullies can dictate their will to other states are over, once and for all. Sovereign states like Ukraine have the right to choose what alliances they want to join and how to conduct their own domestic and foreign policies. Any attempt to thwart these rights are a breach of international law that must be stopped.
The fact that you spelled it "Kieve" and in the same breath also downed "Moscovian" instruments shows the bankruptcy of your argument, if there was one any.
