Peel might go down as one of the best minds in horror ever at this rate... and the man is a genius in comic timing to boot. Talented Talented man. This preview is all types of scary.
I don't know why but the white rabbits seem important. There's a white rabbit in the centre of the Rorschach test image in the title card. The visual imagery is so smart.
I've watched damn near every Us Reaction video and this is most definitely one of the best! Excellent analyst. Especially the horror being the lost of ones self.
Wes Craven? I’m getting new Hitchcock vibes from Mr. Peele. Actually, I’ve been mulling this trailer over, rewatching too, and considering how much he loves classic Twilight Zone, this one smacks (slightly) of the episode in which the mannequin gets too comfortable being in the real world, overstaying her visit, and she has to go back to storage, but is fighting it, and her fellow mannequins ‘persuade’ her to go back... but of course, MUUUUUUCH darker & twisted... and clones too lol
I don't care for these "new" titles people are putting on Jordan. Jordan is NOT the new Hitchcock or Craven or anyone else. He's himself. I know this comparison stuff is a form of flattery. Yes he is a lover of horror and suspense and an admirer of filmmakers. But he's himself. The singer Usher was NOT the new Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson was NOT the new James Brown. Prince was NOT the new Jimi Hendrix or Chuck Berry. People (artists, filmmakers, etc.) don't really want those titles.
First off, I must subscribe to this channel - the commentary is so insightful and a welcome (to some of these reactors on here). 2ndly: Jordan Peele plays with the metaphor of rabbits in all his films. Even Get Out had 2 rabbit references (also, just a side note: rabbits we're the first creatures scientists experimented on to clone so....). Lastly, something isnt right with the main family (especially Lupita's character) - no smart black writer is going put a black mother teaching her black son rhythm in a script 😂 (on top of that, shes snapping her fingers on the 1 and the 3; instead of the 2 and the 4 - she's not even on the beat 😂....my writer instincts are kicking in big time by saying there is something not right about the MAIN family we're following. 😉 Already got my ticket - cannot wait
There's another channel that did a breakdown and there was like 4 or 5 rabbit references in the trailer alone, which makes it seem like whatever their symbolism is, it will feature heavily in the movie.
I saw it too. The regular family are the clones. I think the little girl with the pigtails is the mother as a child. That is NOT the daughter. She is too young. The kid saw someone who looked like the father on the beach. He kept it from his parents
There are homages to classic horror and also nuggets to the bigger picture. The ink blot test at the end looks like twin faces on either side and the middle looks like a bunny head. The for shadows in the driveway are "foreshadowing. " the theme is we are our own worst enemy. The clones are playing scissors (remember the old saying?) The kid is named jason and he wears a mask all the time. Homage to jason voorhees? The mask also represents what we present to the world.
Also multiply like rabbits? Has something to do with replication. And the mom in the beginning is the only one off beat when teaching the kid to keep tempo with the music. She is copying her husband almost perfectly but slightly off. She might have a significant part in whats happening bc she's off. The clones clothing reminds me of chucky. And last, the husband is looking in the rearview mirror in the beginning. Which is our view point as the audience. We are the reflection!
Wo! Nice! Really cool reactions and dialogue (I just subscribed). This movie looks VERY creepy - Downright TERRIFYING. Every time that I watch this trailer, I get more and more chills, and more and more afraid - I am so ready for this (Even though I know I'm probably going to end up dropping my popcorn, I still want to check it out, lol). Anyways, good reactions, and I look forward to many more, peace.

I think it could be the other way around and the "normal" family are the clones and the family in red are the original people. I say that because the the father. He was laughable as the father with the bat. Trying to seem hardcore. The father in red was really hardcore. The little boy talked too much. The one in reds mouth was glued shut. The black mother was snapping off key in the begimning. She is mos definitely a clone
Think: you're enemy can out think you, the worst version of you, because they can anticipate every move you make. How can you defeat something like that? Jordan Peele doesn't do mindless horror. Get on it fellas and watch Get Out, and be honest in your thoughts about it, even if you don't let us know with a video ;-)
If you kill you is it murder or is it suicide? And can you be charged with suicide? Attempted suicide is illegal. But they don't charge people who are dead so actual suicide isn't illegal.... Um... don't watch this movie under the influence of anything... too many questions as it is...
I saw the movie at a private screening last month. I‘m not a spoilsport, so I’ll only tell you the basics. The movie is about a cloning experiment that went south in the worst way. That building with all the rabbits is a secret cloning facility (you know how rabbits and mice are common animals for cloning experiments). All those people you see walking the halls of the facility are all people that were cloned. Their families don’t know they’re there. The “US” family (the CLONES, not the normal ones) were a result of cloning gone wrong. Something went wrong during their cloning procedure and as a result, they suffered physical and mental instabilities. Telling you any more than that would create spoilers, so I’ll stop there. ENJOY THE MOVIE WHEN IT COMES OUT!
@adam lo I'm on several movie review screening lists. It's not hard to get involved. I live in L.A. Call me a liar if they want. I already saw the movie. I'm going to PAY to see it AGAIN, just to see the audience's reactions.......you know, people that PAY to see it.
