𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐑 | 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐳𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝'𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫 

Alois Diethelm, known as the last tree ladder maker in Switzerland, has been crafting tree ladders for orchards for 60 years. With a reduced demand due to changes in agriculture, the need for his up to twelve-meter-long ladders has significantly decreased as orchards have declined, impacting the traditional craft. Despite the diminishing interest in his trade, Diethelm continues his craft out of passion, with no successors in sight.
