NS 1821 leads an autorack train westbound past SRS 136 "doodlebug" and Toledo Union Station. Me and Nolan decided to spend an hour on the old bridge to see what trains would come by. We also saw: NS 9631 eastbound intermodal, NS 5649 lite power, NS 8096 wb intermodal and a pair of GEs on a mixed freight. Afterword we moved up to Lang to see CN 5712 leading a northbound mixed frieght. On the way home we saw KCS 4083 leading Q132 north across the Willard Sub at the Galatea diamond.

So you got up to the Lang area ... nice to see it again. I grew up not far from there and I think it's how I came to love trains. Nice to go back again without having to buy all that gas. 😁😁

That location is a great vantage point of the river bridge, but its in a very sketchy neighborhood

@@joshuabennett5891 Oh, lol, no problem, I know my way around the east side myself, just warning those out of town to always keep your eyes peeled. I used to know the bridge operator when I was very young, he was friends with my grandfather, an NS Engjneer.

Hey Scott when trains are on the CF&E Railroad do you know why they slow down in Lima Ohio

Could be a maintenance slow order in place. I know NS is trying to get oil trains through there to Mansfield and having little luck doing it without a recrew ready at lima.

Lima between Eastown Rd and the CSX Diamond is all yard limits restricted to 10mph
