Train Australian Cattle dog catch Frisbee, to do this the dog most understand hold and drop, a proper retrieve Peter Caine dog Training Readyourdog.com
Peter is not a good trainer. He is intolerant, ignorant, illiterate and abusive. There are real trainers out there more deserving of your respect. (That looks like a shock collar - since he didn't have the courtesy to reply to you).
Once my puppy is a little but older like 7 or 8 months once the frisbee can actually fit in her mouth then I will take her to the dog park every day so she can learn that. I wod really like go get her in frisbee tossing and all sorts of agility and training stuff but thats going to be at least not for 4 or 5 months she is just barely 3 months
You, Peter, are an aggressive, loud, ignorant bully. You are certainly NO dog trainer and I wouldn't be surprised if you ruined the dog's you allegedly "train".
Got a acd from a private seller almost a 2 weeks ago and noticing somethings. He is a puppy is it normal for a emergetic dog not to want to go on walks?? Also he rather bite me or at my hands rather than all the toys i got him. Is it possible to train alot of the herding out of a heeler?
I have never seen a dog with a docked tail that had bad balance, that is a talking point you are bring up and is ridiculous if you understand dogs On some breeds its done prophylactic because the tail has not a lot of hair to protect it and its a hyperactive breed that wags tail alot and injure tail tip and it gets infected. Example study's done in country's where docking is not done anymore you see tails being removed in breeds like GSP because of medical reasons due to injury more often than other breeds
Some heelers are born with stumpy tails, google 'Australian stumpy tail cattle dogs', is obvious they have intact tails only 2 inch or so long, I love mine.
