Getting the TGV Train (with SNCF) from Marne La Vallee Chessy (Disneyland Paris) to St Pancras in London (Eurostar International Station)! Changing Trains at Lille Europe!
excellent recording ,I travelled many times to marne la valle with euro star via lille europe ,this video is good arhive for any one who is going to travel to chessy , marne la valle, disneyland europe ect..
Disney needs to run their own trains from Gare Du Nord stopping at CDG,Market,Lille and Dover to make it good for mahy passengers including cruise and even one from Le Havre
Do you need to get to Marne La Vallee 30-45mins early like you do for the Eurostar? I assume because it's a standard train I don't need to go through security etc and the transfer time includes having to go through security Lille?
The tickets you had are different to what I’ve just had on my recent trip to DLP,I just printed them off at home. Where did you get your tickets? I’m just curious because the next time I visit DLP I might use the indirect train.
AdmiralPicard2010 I must have got them at St Pancras you have to collect from station if you book the whole journey with Eurostar? If you book the SNCF part yourself you print tickets yourself
I love your video. It has been really helpful. I was wondering how you go from the TGV to the Eurostar train when you are at Lille. Do you need to get out to the street or what do you do? Thank you in advanced 😊
Teresa Garza Arcaraz you don’t need to leave the station at all! You just get off your TGV train and go up the escalator to the main area of Lille station! Just walk towards the Union Jack and Eurostar signs it’s easy
Fairy Godmother Thank you very much. I thought it would be hard to find the next train. Your video is the best because there are lots of important details. For instance, the tickets and the way they work 😃 You’ve got a new follower
Hi! Quick question how long did you have to change from lile to eurostar? We have 35 mins. But what confuses me in the eurostar says check in closes 30 mins prior to departure...do you know if this counts for connecting trains? I.e the eurostar train that changes and lile and vice versa for disneyland? :)
Jordan Grisenthwaite 35 mins is plenty! They will let you check in Eurostar at Lille and go through customs with 10 mins to train! It takes even less time when you are changing on the way to Disneyland because you already went through Customs and Immigration in London
@@FairyGodmother honestly your videos have been a god send! I refuse to pay for a direct train. 600+ pounds! Making 1 change cuts to down to 280! Crazy! Thanks again for your videos! Xx
@@FairyGodmother honestly your videos have been a god send! I refuse to pay for a direct train. 600+ pounds! Making 1 change cuts to down to 280! Crazy! Can i ask do you check in first before security ect on the way to disney? As we have 1hr 05 once we arrive in london Euston to get to st pancras and check into the eurostar.... im worrying about cues and incase we are denied entry due to be under the 30 min cut off point! Haha
I just booked with Eurostar on the laptop! I think 90 days in advance! The earlier you book the cheaper the tickets! But the indirect is only available 90 days ahead
Hi how long do u get to leave the train and Eurostar (both ways) when changing ? I’m worried that the doors will close before I’ve had time to even get off to change trains 😅
@@FairyGodmother ahh ok :) I will be tactical then and stand near the door just before it’s due to get into the station 😅 then I can be the 1st off 😅 just means checking my phone constantly but worth it to not worry about getting off late
@@FairyGodmother that’s understandable and if it gets too busy or loud I will end up standing near the door anyway 😅 cause sometimes with busy trains I have mini anxiety attacks. Vary rare it happens but always good to have a plan incase.
