holly smith She's not trying to showcase technique here, in fact she's not even doing ballet. She's doing a "ballet inspired workout" so relax a little. She hasn't danced in years, so I'm sure she wouldn't still be as good as she used to be, but she did do ballet for something like 12 or 13 years, and her mother owned a ballet school so when she was doing it regularly I'm sure her technique was lovely.
differenttruck yeah ok .... Fair point. It just annoys me as a dancer when I see models used instead of dancers to show dance things....but I guess it's just ballet inspired.
I know what you're saying, but look at it this way...this is VS showing how their Angels get in shape for the big show, so they aren't going to bring in a ballet dancer to showcase it, they're going to use their Angels. I take it as a good thing because its A) showing that ballet will kick your ass and is tough, unlike how most people dismiss it as being nothing but twirling and waving your arms around and B) maybe will inspire people to want to try ballet inspired workouts, and thus become more interested in ballet itself, whether dancing or just watching and going to theaters to see performances. Ballet doesn't get the respect it deserves when it comes to how hard dancers work, and how much time and dedication goes into it, so I think any time someone brings attention to any kind of ballet-inspired thing, it's a good thing :)
Yeah your right ! ..... I think it annoyed me cause I keep seeing models used for ballet stuff and it's disrespectful to dancers who have put their life into training. But considering this was for vs the. It completely makes sense, and her technique isn't that bad, I was just frustrated I guess !
I don't understand why people think it's ok to call girls "too skinny" and "flat", but it's not ok to call girls "too fat" or "too chubby". Keep your rude opinions to yourself please and thank you.
It has to do with the modelling culture of the 90s where women starved and smoked to keep their shape. Thankfully now it's all about health and fitness. So a lot of current models eat sufficiently and healthily and make sure to do the right workouts. People still have that mentality of if they're skinny then they're starving but that's quickly changing due to the current health and fitness culture.
@@Adisonadibeba Athletes have very low body fats and they are healthy. Can't say the same about most overweight people, unless they are bodybuilders and that's a minority.
+Gingerbread Girl I'm sure you're beautiful, just as you are. Even Candice tells people about how intimidated she was by Heidi Klum. Keep working toward improvement, you will get there. xoxo
See I want her body, but I don't want to work out! 😂🙈 the main reason why my "Lose Weight" new year's resolution never gets attempted. P.S. Candice looks freaking amazing 💕… FOR HER! … everyone is different, so don't be discouraged if you can't look like her, because you can't look like someone else honestly.
***** never said I didn't, I was saying the P.S. thing because at the time, there was alot of ppl comparing bodies & shaming Candice so I just decided to say "we're all different" I mean I too forget that.. This comment was kinda for me in a way.
+Elle Mayer there are these growing exercises which are basically stretches. I don't think this will increase your growth by a lot, as it is mainly genetics, but I think it does help by a few cm. I'm 1'68 and I just turned 14 and i want to be able to reach 1'75. So i started doing these exercises for about 3 weeks now and my parents have already seen a difference ! hope this helps :)
+zara hoeffelman do you watch all of these exercises one by one? can i found all of them in one video or longer version of one of them(like 30 min. just watch and do it then finish exercise.) ?
I started with a Sans Barre class at the gym I go to. After doing the workout 3 - 4 times per week I was amazed at the changes after only 3 weeks. So, I found Mary Helens videos, "Ballet Beautiful" ~ WOW! It's more difficult than it looks. I'm sticking with her workouts. They are doing great things for my abs, inner thighs & strengthening my back.
It is 2 months since work out and when l started l was abt to die honestly it was so hard but now it is better and her work outs work so great for me ( from naturally skinny to fit)btw l did this like 2times a day it took my soul out but again it is worth it
Having done Ballet myself I think she is good...nice lines throughout! Obvious that Candice has done ballet before. God... she is exquisite as well lol!
obviously not be training like an angel but is a good motivation to train like a real man and have posobilidad to know a beautiful angel 'is what Candice
christianefbowiefan That’s just how her back is naturally arched. I have a similar arch like hers and that what my back looks like when I’m working out.
Honestly i really want to be a modal and i do a lot of ballet, and idk why but its really hard for me to do other workouts bc for me its all dance so this really helped
I am so skynny so ppl always ask me why do I do exercises if I have a """perfect""" body but no omg,I wish I had the body Candice has,she is slim but her muscles are so toned
+Lucia argenti yeah I'm skinny too and people say I don't need to workout. It's annoying because people don't understand that working out isn't just to get skinny.
It's funny cause Candice is one of the angels who didn't exactly endorse Ballet Beautiful on her SNS. Miranda/Doutzen/Lily (if I'm not wrong) are the ones who are into this thing. Nevertheless, she's stunning.
angel chick triggered, much? Not forcing any disorder on anyone. Google it. First of all, my comment was just a comment. Second, google "caloric intake diet" and you'll get all the info you need. Dieting isn't black and white and not just about eating certain foods. If your caloric intake is more than what you can burn, you gain fat. Everyone is different and beautiful and NO ONE should be pressured to lose or gain weight. Do it only if you want to. Period. Don't come at me, guns blazing, until you know exactly what you're talking about. Thanks.
+Visurant i'm a dancer i got a toned body i think😂 i just make sure i eat 3 times a day healthy snacks before dancing class and drink plenty of water. I think it is the best to each time before or something you exercise and feel "awake" before after and in the workout
You're definitely correct. Her back should have been stretched to flat on the floor. The problem was more likely about alignment through her butt and core. Throughout the whole video she did not tuck her butt under and consequently was not really working her core. Without a strong center she did everything with incorrect alignment, including the exercises on the ground.
Hali M This is true for a lot of people, but this can and should be trained out of most people with consistent work at form corrections. If you're interested in trying this a great way to train your body to do this and to force yourself to use only your core (which is the point here) is to put a pillow under your hips. This does wonders, and is a great training tool for anyone, no matter your level. It takes the pressure off the hips and aligns the back correctly, while focusing exclusively on the core.
