Info about the game's train system:
Trains are present in Red Dead Redemption 2. They can be robbed by the player, and, unlike other Red Dead games, they can also be driven. While driving, the player can ring the bell, use the whistle, brake, reverse and accelerate. In addition, players can ride a train as a form of fast travel by buying tickets at any train stations. The ticket price will vary depending on the travel distance to the player's destination.
Trains run through most of the territory, from Big Valley in the west to Annesburg in the east, except in the South-West of the map. While the rail line between Benedict Point, Armadillo, and MacFarlane's Ranch in New Austin exists, no passenger trains run and tickets can't be purchased, only cargo trains will be found running.
There are five separate railroad companies: the Central Union Railroad, the Lannahechee and Midland Rail Co. and the Southern and Eastern Railway operate in Ambarino, Lemoyne, New Hanover, and the Big Valley region of West Elizabeth. The Southwestern Railroad and the Pacific Union Railroad, from the first Red Dead Redemption game, are also seen in operation in New Austin; however only trains from the latter appear. A newspaper article later states that the Southern and Eastern Railway Company was bought by the Pacific Union Railroad Company in 1907, following Cornwall's death in 1899.
Two types of locomotives are in the game: the first is a 4-6-0 Ten-Wheeler based off of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad's "Thatcher Perkins", and the other is a 4-4-0 American based off of New York Central & Hudson River Railroad #999, a locomotive reported to have allegedly gone over 100 mph in 1893. The 4-6-0 design is used primarily by the Central Union Railroad and the Lannahechee and Midland Rail Co., though the Southern and Eastern Railway also operate one. The 4-4-0 is used by the Southern and Eastern and the Pacific Union Railroad.
For this specific video, the train is operated by Central Union Railroad, which is possibly a reference to the real-life former Central Pacific Railroad.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a 2018 action-adventure game developed and published by Rockstar Games. The game is the third entry in the Red Dead series and is a prequel to the 2010 game Red Dead Redemption.
The story is set in 1899 in a fictionalized representation of the Western, Midwestern, and Southern United States and follows outlaw Arthur Morgan, a member of the Van der Linde gang. Arthur must deal with the decline of the Wild West whilst attempting to survive against government forces, rival gangs, and other adversaries. The story also follows fellow gang member John Marston, the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption.
