Gorgeous visuals but I didn't like the "Mind the gap" warnings. They are out of place on the subsurface lines. They are only used at deep tube stations that actually have gaps between the trains and the platform edge due to severe curvature. Notting Hill Gate has almost dead straight platforms.
@@johnm2012 no, signals don't just protect their section, they also protect the overlap of the next signal. If a train passes the signal at 3:56 at danger at 30 mph it would certainly collide with the other train, while if it get tripped on the first signal it would have enough space to stop. The overlaps in the London Underground are usually at least 100 meters (except for those right after a platform), that distance is reduced to less than 50 meters with CBTC.
