The wheels are only a fucking google search away from knowing what they _actually_ look like, cause they sure as hell wouldn't look like thick chrome-plated saucers. Real locomotive smoke definitely doesn't contain Minecraft particles, nor does it look like a tornado out of an old and outdated Roblox game. I've never actually seen locomotive windows in real life, only seen them in media, but I'm pretty fucking sure they don't have glass that looks like waxed plastic translucent construction paper. I never knew MU cables looked like shortened human intestines. I'm pretty sure parking brake handles don't look like they were starved to death and thrown into a drier or like they were made out of paper-thin twigs. On the bright side, the fact that the locomotive is quiet inside the cab would make the engineer feel as though he or she could beat the Quiet Place monsters should he or she get trapped with one in the cab. Only in The United States of 'Murica do ACUs have headlights that have the brightness of a Star. Seriously, it looks like someone was trying to arrest the Sun with a shackle. Our country's locomotives can take off like rockets and stop like motor vehicles with several tons of empties trailing along. NOT.

These add ones always make me think that they started off working on fine details like the trucks/models with a better attention to detail, but then the dev got rushed and/or lost interest and phoned in the rest. If feels like there was potential for something decent, then they just stopped caring and rushed out the rest.

I hope they come out with GP40-2 Searchlight 🙏🏻

I love trains planes cars all that stuff basically anything with a motor or engine of some kind stumbled upon this channel love the reviews and honest content much of this I do agree with. However how is there not a more modern simulator platform. I play a lot of flight sim and this looks like Xplane 10 from 2014. This game is from 2009 I think its downright outrageous that this is still used or talked about these folks making these should get together make a whole new game for y’all.

Engine sounds nothing alike the actual prototype and the horn is reused off the NS Eco engines same as the bell, SS will blow em out whenever they get the NS ACus out. Another cash grab 😢

I don't know if you reviewed the Canadian Pacific SD60 by Travel by train, and the horn is the exact same as the SD60. I was considering buying this locomotive, but after watching this, I think I changed my mind.

Not only is the horn too quite the bell is a steel bell while in real life they were all given e bells during rebuild

How is it still acceptable for such low-quality add-ons to be released on Steam, especially when (as SP points out in this video) you can get much higher-quality add-ons from third-party website? I've heard of DTG having low standards, but this is ridiculous. One thing's for sure, I won't buy any TBT products based on what I've heard about them. The only product of theirs that I've tried is the GP33ECO, and that was pretty mediocre. I can't remember if the SD60E was made by TBT, but that was just as bland as the GP33ECO.

Not to be mean but I watched your review on the Saluda Grade route and you had some facts/ history wrong. I work for the short line in Asheville. If you've been to Asheville great but if there's things you don't know please don't mention things. I was going to comment and try to leave the real facts but figured I'd let it go, then I watched this one. I've been on these locomotives before the MU Cable may look too big on the game but it actually is big, the hand brake on some engines actually have the same handbrake you see on this engine. The three parts in the center are a little skinny but are actually in the right spot. These handbrakes are usually electric so you just push a button for a few seconds and the handbrake applies/ releases if the electric brake messes up or the breaker are not up it's a pain to tie because they feel stiff and the chain is wrong. I enjoy watching the reviews but there are some facts that are inaccurate or wrong.

TBT really did not do a very good job on this model. I'd rather wait for Searchlight Simulations to finish converting the JR NS SD70ACu than pay 20 dollars for this absolute dump.

Odd that DG release such garbage and at the same time expect you to believe that their TSW4 is going to be just great. I have given up on DG and don't buy their products anymore.

I get it, for this model, its definitely sub-par. the cab is less than desirable. things like this definitely shouldnt be released in the first place. or at least fine tuned first. but i think that its not fair to expect every single DLC, including from 3rd party sites, to be 10/10 with 0 flaws. sometimes i feel bad for this developer "travel by train". This SD70ACu and their spartan cab SD70 model are about to be "overtaken" by the searchlight simulations models when released. that just sucks for any developer to have their models and hard work just trumped. anyway, its mostly on facebook, where people just bash and complain and say mean shit. there arent that many TS developers out there anymore. why treat them like shit and discourage them? thats how you drive them out of business. again, i get it, not worth $20. especially since the competitor with the superior product is cheaper. Train simulator as we know it is dying. its pretty much dead. a 10+ year old game that constantly breaks down and crashes, old ass graphics, and pretty much abandoned by the developer (DTG). so, again, why discourage the few amounts of developers we have left in the first place? plus, TBT has had some decent content from the past. albeit sort of DTM style content, it was mostly passable in my opinion. for the SD70ACu, it sure could have been better. but no need to blast the fuck out of them. if you dont like the DLC, don't buy it. and if both of those are true for you, simply ask for a refund on steam. at least its better than the NS SD70M that was released. and at the end of the day, this SD70ACu could be used as good Altoona Yard filler. if you did decide to keep it after buying. definitely overpriced. like all of the train simulator DLC. can't think of a single DLC that is worth the money on the steam store. and that has nothing to do with quality, its just a digital train in a game. it shouldnt be expensive. Schnauzahpowahz, I am not talking about you here, just giving my opinion of comments i've seen. You were respectful and gave an honest review to demonstrate this product and how it was not what we all hoped it would be. thank you for your videos. ive watched them for over a year now, they keep me coming back to the game.
