Finally, I potential bride who doesn't buckle under the pressure of what everyone else (family and sales people) thinks is best for her. Her true confidence is when she quickly says "no" to the dress despite the infamous veil which further pressures the bride to say "yes.". You go girl.

My mom wore tennis sneakers under her floor length amazing satin gown in 1943, and no one could tell from her pictures. It was during WWII and she had no ration tickets for new shoes, plus the planned wedding date was moved up when my dad got his overseas orders and they had only a week to rearrange everything.

I wore sneakers (aka trainers) with my wedding dress 20 years ago. Best decision. When you are a bride you are on your feet all day and comfortable shoes are a must. I had a ball gown so no one could see my feet anyway, and the sneakers were brand new, ivory (like the dress) and sparkly laces.

i think that first dress could've worked if it was in her size and if she had LACE trainers. i've actually seen sneakers exactly like the ones she was wearing but with a lace overlay, if you're gonna wear sneakers to your wedding those would definitely be the ones to get.

The shoes are actually really cute I seen all sorts ofttimes and different dresses and weddingsm..colors and all. We are so passed trading. Donwhat makes you happy.mmmmost people renew vows anyway...That gives you time to try new settings and themes.

You can find comfortable flats such as ballet flat style that would look much better.

My daughter-in-law wore sparkly tennis shoes which hardly showed under her full-length dress. (She has problem feet, and it was outside.) I wish I’d known, I’d have worn more comfy shoes myself!

Okay, today I learned that what americans call sneakers, the British call trainers 😆 English improving here 😆 anyway, where is the episode for Katie, does anyone know?

The first one looked like a little kids party dress, especially with the bow and then the trainers. It was a nice idea and i like the fabric and sleeves, but the skirt is too full. The second one is OK. The neckline looks unfinished with the break in the detail. I don't like the flowers on the skirt- too eighties. The detailing on the top is lovely and the shape suits her. Ronald Joyce makes nice dresses and the third one is no exception. It's really lovely and the train falls beautifully. It will be a very forgiving dress if you're having an off day too and it won't be something that you will look at in photos twenty years from now and laugh at the fashions of the day.
