@jacqueschapatte2457 hahahaha 😆 brilliant 👏. That's good mate, glad you're doing well, here's to a good summer!. I'm doing good, feeling better than I have for years.
I just hit 3 months recovery from my open inguinal hernia repair, and was wondering what exercises are safe to do that this point in recovery. I really don't want to push to far and mess up the repair
Exactly my thoughts too. I've been quite surprised at the amount of scar tissue around the incision site of surgery (open surgery). I'm leaving full body stretches like pull up type exercises for now & using the gymnastic rings at a low height, as in this video. Elevation of the hips so there's less pressure on the groin area feels like a good idea for now. I'd avoid running, squats, deadlines & to be honest I'm going to focus on very flowing motions for the rest of my life, why not they are highly complex & playful. I'm going to make a video explaining more the next time the sun comes out.
@Expresshonestly how do you go about doing your breathing during each rep? I did push-ups for the first time since before surgery yesterday and I was very paranoid having to use my abdominal muscles again. Like I don't want to brace the wrong way
