Everyone talks about Michael Jordan, Lionel Messi, Ali and this man is basically having greater career than all of them. Only player who can compete with him as the greatest athlete of all time is Novak Djokovic.

Honestly, both of them are as great in their sport soo probably these 2 are only athletes where I can't say who is better. Literally both Bolt or Phelps can be number 1. Phelps has 23 gold medals at olympics and nobody has ever been even close to that and we're only talking about olympic gold medals. When you add also that he has many other gold medals at world cups (I don't even know how kany of them he won at world cup) simply that becomes insanee... Literally unbeatable force in his sport, no rivarly, no anything. Any time when you watch swimming, before the race starts you know that Michael Phelps will win. It's the same about Usain Bolt in his sport so it's very debatable. I'm honestly picking Phelps, but if you are picking Usain Bolt, I respect that.

Some of them don't even put him in top 2 or top 3 because basketball and football are way more popular sports and many people are putting Michael Jordan, Messi, Ronaldo ahead of him despite the fact that nobody of them was soo dominant in his sport like he was. I'm big Jordan's fan, basketball is my favourite sport, among basketball players for me he is the greatest ever, but when I'm comparing him with Phelps, come on... Phelps had greater careerin his sport than Jordan. Definitely more dominant player. Same about Messi.
