You dumb? The boots that they use helps a lot. Besides, here is hanging, while climbing, Yeah, sometimes gets harder but usually, with, again, the help of their boots, look for places that can allow them to put their weight forward.

A colleague of mine died last year with 6 others when they where ice climbing despite being totally expierienced. He left behind a wife with three little kids. Another friend was lucky that he didn't have the time to join. Be careful!
You can't really have that much sympathy for them ice climbing isn't a necessity in life plus you're obviously playing with the forces of nature that you're not supposed to. Experience or not it doesn't overwrite the basic laws of physics. They fucked with their own lives knowing full well what they were getting into it's just that nature wasn't having it that day

Hahahahahhahah the way he's training reminds me when I was 14 years old sneaking out. I use to put bedsheets and tie them together And used them as rope. Sometimes in the winter I would put a big pile of snow out front of my window and when I snuck out I would jump in the pile of snow then cover it up.
