Iain has gained alot of respect from me by how hard he was trying to do what Mike was telling him. His fsce was all intensity and concentration, like he was a new trainee.
You know how strong of a person you have to be to take advice when you are one of the best bodybuilders in the world. Nothing but respect to the both of you 👍🏽
This is improvement! Iain is always confident and explains well when he trains in his videos or with someone and now is he a student which is so good to see! I love this shit so much!
It just shows. That no matter how long you have been training. There's always something that you can learn. Mike is the man who can give you that extra something. That could give you that edge come the Olimpia. ....
Iam glad to see top pros like Ian /Nick paying so much attention to training (there not the only ones) training is the most important piece of the puzzle along with Super supps /diet Mike has a great style glad to see it being seen by so many
When guys wonder how did Iain improve his lower lats & overall back, here it is!💯💯 Plus Iain's a professional as well! Really dope to see how Iain quickly makes multiple adjustments as you give the ques, good shit, love it!💪🏿🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
Just shows you there is so much more to this than just moving the weight. Mike really understands the technical aspect of lifting which is great to watch.
It literally looks like Iain felt his back for the first time. He was working for sure! Mike, you're fkn awsome to watch. You're great at what you do! You've helped me A LOT, as well as MANY, im quite positive. Thanks for sharing your time and knowledge
I’m so glad brochat added Mike! I used to train like an optimal exercise wizard lol. Training finally feels fun and I actually feel shit I’ve never felt before.
Have to say Mike my back training has gotten so much better since watching your videos. I know you'd still think it was atrocious but just implementing some of these cues I can feel such a huge difference.
I could watch this content on a loop 👌🏽 amazing cues, especially on the position of the hips back. Massive respect to Ian. Training at it best. No bs intro, no chit chat, no gimmicks aaah I love you Mike! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is great, very detailed & informative. I've been training a lot of years, always looking to improve & learn something. Thanks for posting all your valuable training content, much appreciated.
The lower weight being used with one of the strongest ifbb pros is a very good example on how much weight you don’t actually need if movement patterns are correct. Pretty fucking informative yet very overlooked.
Mike you're a gift to the industry man. This is a great eye in to the little details you are finding to bring the most out of our physiques. Love this content.
The amount of different high quality machines for each body part in this gym is just insane! Besides barbells, I have only a couple machines I like in my gym for back
So many minor adjustments. It's amazing to see how he is able to adjust everything in a split second to get the desired effect. Its like watching a wizard of gains in action lol
This is the difference between a professional bodybuilder and a buff dude at the gym. People talk about talent in bodybuilding only in terms of their genetics, but this shows how talent is much more than just your genetics. Talent is your ability to execute specific movements with intent and activating those muscles purposefully. The ability to integrate ques and mid-set adaptations to maximize muscle stimulus. Technical, physical, and mechanical precision is a skill and talent that is underrated and undervalued in bodybuilding. Watching Ian train really demonstrates that difference and why he's a professional athlete, the same as NBA/NFL/NHL players. It's more than genetic muscle growth potential and gear.
Awesome video very informative. It’s like watching a mad scientist as His creation comes to life. I have been utilizing many of your tips on for activating certain muscle groups. It has been a night and day difference for my workouts. True master of your craft.
Chin down. Butt back. Elbow in. Let the hand go. Violent rock back. Chest up. Chin down. Left hand in. Shoulder roll. Tuck that lat. Push chest into pad. Rock back. Chin down. Let the hands go. Rock up there. Relax shoulders. Chest up. Tuck the elbow. Chin down. Rock back. Left side lat pull.
Honestly Ian should do a full off season with big Mike running his back days. Iain has a great back when he’s peeled and full but if you could fill in those lower lats more you’d shut a lot of people up.
This is great! Iain could lift all the weights on everylift if he just wanted to but Mike's cues especially relaxing and keeping posture makes everything so much harder. I'm curious to hear Iain's thoughts on this type of training?
My back training feels so much more connected and i work with lighter weight. I get so much more sore on back day now. I bet you would be able to do more with me in person. Thanks mike
