Another masterclass from Mr. Brown. I am thorougly enjoying them. It show (among other things) that the classification of inside puller/ outside puller is a gigantic oversimplification.
Is it like doing the "chop" move? I tried a similar thing I think, I just push down as hard as I can with my pinky and after my body, But that's feels in the elbow.
Chop move is aimed outside their bone line (shoulder). It requires mainly elbow joint side pressure and pinky strength, very risky move, not the best. This move is directed downwards towards the elbow. You just use triceps a lil to push. Shoulder not required much. Good for getting into hook but your palm will be up.
@@limo-swine6537 Thanks. Sometimes it feels impossible to get in the hook. feels just like trying to "twist" an iron pipe. Maybe I do the movement wrong
@@robertkarkkanen6323 wrist flexion is a big component but you can try other techniques also. Some people "shoot" forward their elbow and get the hook. Some people supinate very quickly to get the hook. Some do the chop to quickly win. Some push down to get a deep hook. Some just have really strong cupping and just curl the opponent.
