Joe Miller swings a golf club 150mph, hits the ball 225mph, and is the reigning World Long Drive Champion. He got his start lifting weights, took a job working at a driving range and ultimately ended up crushing golf balls further than anyone in the world. We hung out with him in Northaw, England to see how he hits golf balls nearly five football fields.

I'm all for the humane treatment of long drives, so I applaud this guy's approach to doing what is humanely possible in his area. We need more people like that in the long drive world. Think of the children.

This is awesome. This is the future for long drive and tournament golf. You know Jimmy Ballard told me over 35 years ago that golfers were athletes. Back then nobody was doing anything but smoking and drinking. But Jimmy was right. What a big difference in the 35 years. Training is serious and specific just like any other sport. I love it. Bring It On.

im 6 and im on the pga tour i drive the ball 550 yrds on a bad shot and 923 yds on a good shot i am -5 thru 3 holes. i use putter off 160yd par 3's.

Wow I have never red so many jealous comments made towards a guy who enjoys his own life style that most envy! Different folk, differents strokes I say! My longest drive/s are 250 in which I am happy with, if it is still in the fairway! Ha ha! Am 66 years of age and play golf every day (weather permitting) Now I bet most of you out there wish you could play every day! So please don't be jealous of others life style, just be content what you have and what you can achieve out of your own life style, and enjoy what you have! I wish you all the best in your own golfing day's!

I had 3 lessons with Lee .... hands down the best lessons I’ve ever had, I couldn’t hit a drive further than 200 yards after 3 hours consistently hitting 260 but most importantly 95% down the fairway .... if only improvement in the rest of the game was that easy 😭😭🙄

I love how people now just do flexibility drills and stupid light weight complex workouts that don’t make you stronger and ultimately don’t make you hit it any farther, but people like him, tiger and Rory brought it back and that might be because like him, they were all taught the basics, the stronger you are, the faster your club head speed, and I like that he is doing that so props to him!

Wonder how much his equipment adds to his speed and yardage. I may be wrong on this but from my understanding all regulation style equipment maxes out. A regulation driver and ball can only hit a maximum of 320 yards. So what is he using to get those distances? A special ball and a 1degree, extra stiff, extra long driver? I’d like to see a video on the differences of him using regular everyday clubs and ball vs his special built equipment.

Its crazy that the head of the driver almost hits his waist on his backswing. Most golfers end the backswing with the shaft parallel to the ground and he’s rotating all the way back to 90 degrees from the ground. That usually results in a massive slice UNLESS you can whip your shoulders round as quickly as your hips are coming around and meeting square at the point of contact....but either way, the length of these long drive guys’ backswings are insane.

150 mph club head speed is with a 48 inch driver. The 125 mph is with a 44 or 45 inch driver. Both badass !

Bodybuilders usually make Great golfers, because of their ability to find CONSISTENCY, and make adjustments....plus they have extremely Good control over muscle fibers and extreme focus. Plus, due to the extra mass, they don't need to swing "quite" as fast......because the Force = Mass x Acceleration.

It is cool the ability these guys have to crush balls. However its completely specialized sport and what they do, pros don't swing like the long drive guys do, because they are trying to do different things. But like Maddox, Glavine and Smoltz said "Chicks dig the long balls"
