Filmed on 07/12/2019. As the Christmas spirits are rising, the cheers and festive fun can go in busy but fun ways at Lincoln Central (Season 6 Episode 38)
After a 3 year gap, it is good to be visiting this station especially at this time of year. London NorthEastern Railway, East Midlands Railway and Northern Railway were putting on additional services for the Lincoln Christmas Market. Lincoln Central is normally a quiet less busier of the East Midlands stations but this was different. Additional services and special workings includes from Derby, Sheffield and Nottingham by class 222 Meridians, HST, class 142 Pacer also a pairing of class 153's.
Sadly, due to a failure with 6233 Duchess Of Sutherland, a pairing of West Coast Railway diesels had to take over The Lindum Fayre Tour.
