Look at all the weeds and undergrowth on the exits of the station!! Never like that in the ‘steam days’ Our railways are run on a shoestring. People used to take a pride in their railway jobs years ago - not now!!
@@cmtransportvids I could write a book, litterally! Loads of stories. The most memorable probably being walking the entire few miles from Vic to Miles platting, with a bucket of sand, alongside a pair of 31s on an oil train. As secondman(at the time) it was my job to get the slipping pair up the bank! In the dead of night,we finally crawled over the summit,then I climbed back in the cab. I was knackered to say the least!!!
You need to wear a mask if you are a frequent user of this station for all the diesel fumes, it’s absolutely horrendous. Definitely not safe or healthy to breath in.
