Swindon is my local station, but for freight I go next station up at Didcot Parkway. The Tytherington to Quainton Road, Quainton Road is Aylesbury. Good video mate.
@@grahamlavers8128 ahh okay mate yeah didcot is good for freight too but does most freight that goes through Swindon goes through didcot anyway or do you get any different freight at didcot that you don’t get at Swindon
Looks like you had a good day at Swindon Alex. Nice to catch 69011 dragging SWR 701 and Britannia (you should have go to the other platform to get a good shot). Good to see GWR 387s in action as well. Thank you for sharing 👍
Fantastic video Alex Swindon looks a nice station and nice selection of trains espaically the frieght trains well done again mate hopefully see another video soon
Awesome trainspotting at windy Swindon Alex, never seen so many freight wow never known a 158 or 387s stop there either well done mate on another awesome video
I know in the past for a 158 to stop at Swindon just doing a service to westbury but 387’s I had no idea about to be fair as for the freight it was excellent don’t get anything like that my way
Great video, Alex mate. I've never seen some IETS got really packed with people. Oh my days lol 😂 it was really good to see some freight trains as well also good to see the Britannia steam going rushing through that made me jump
Well all IETs are always gonna get packed going to London no matter what time of the day you go crosscountry voyagers are the worst tho as obviously only 4 coaches long and I was on one of them up to Bristol it was a bloody nightmare rammed packed couldn’t breath but apparently crosscountry know what they are doing
The Class 701s for South Western Railway will enter service on the South West London Surburban lines out of Waterloo, including the Waterloo to Reading and Windsor and Eton Riverside services in the future where they will replace the Class 455s and the Class 707s in which the remaining 2 Class 707s will be transferred to Southeastern to replace the older Networkers
Wanna tip... When recording a train passing a location, "Pan" with the engine not the blank side of the tender or any trailing cars! It's better for the viewing experience...
wow that was alot of freight and IETS 387s ah cool to see. that steam was really fast with 47810 you could have gone on the other platfrom on the back lovely 158749 with your first time having the yorkshire ilkey moor bah tat tones. 69 with 701 must have been great
