It's difficult to constantly give of yourself and get so little back. Remember that you deserve love. You also deserve peace. Don't cut yourself short of those things just to save a friendship that's not only falling apart but ripping you apart at the same time. I'm not saying ignore him, I'd never suggest that, but it's okay to distance yourself. Although I'm no longer friends with the girl in my story, I still talk to her from time to time just to check-in. You can leave, but it never means that you stopped caring for them. It can mean that you're learning to care for yourself. It's going to be difficult to leave and to find someone else that truly understands you, trust me, I know. But along the way, I realized that by spending so much time and energy on a single person, I had cut myself off from so many others. Everything has been cold for 3 months straight, I always messaged him but he never replied, he leaves it on 'seen' ALWAYS. so I finally had the courage to ask him why he did doing that to me and if we were still gonna continue our relationship. Within those 3 months i kept on scrolling through his notifications since he didn't changed his password, there was this girl who always share funny memes and my boyfriend always interact with her on the comment section more often than he chats me, I never asked him abt the girl cuz I was afraid he'd be mad at me for being paranoid, since that girl was his classmate i just thought that that was just how close they are... but after i asked him about our relationship status, he simply said "let's end this, I know you're also tired because of this long distance relationship (which I am not ). its not healthy any more". Then I realized it was not me who's tired but him, then this crazy brain of mine simply said "if that's what you want then why not?"... after a week (unlike in the song it has been 2 weeks) I stalked that girl's twitter then I saw her header with her eyes and a guy's eye. I had a crush, we both really liked each other. We talked about almost anything and everything. Talked every day. Little did I know he was pulling me away from my beat friends. When I was 12, I met my best friend. He lived in a different state, but we would plan visits and of course we would text and FaceTime. I broke up with my boyfriend a little over a month ago and im not crying over him im crying over someone who promised they wouldnt leave and said that they were my bestfriend then turned everything around and made me feel bad about what she did and made me the bad person
it was an elementary “relationship” and that next year he went with another girl. I don’t think he understands how much it hurts to see the person you love/like really bad with someone else, the words “and I know that you’ll never feel sorry, for the way I hurt” and “god, I wish that you had thought this through before I when and fell in love with you” hurts. (he was my crush for 5 years🌚)
