Please watch out for scams, looks like someone impersonated me today and created a fake Telegram account (fake RU-vid channel was already reported). Please do not answer, it isn't me. Apologies!
You give me inspiration. Now I just need some T & A. new level vanity. You found out a woman can drive a sim. Now what? "Jimmy" with tits configuration. No worries, I WONT be back! Congratulations! #MaleTool
hheheehehe yeah let's show this racing sim... and i'll make sure to wear this superthigh outfit uhuh the people that fall for both scams deserve it... SIMPS
buy the exact same chinese unbranded version (made in same factory) 300bucks.. lol, seat adjustment,, who needs that,, fit it once for you and F88k anyone else using your rig
My daughter is just getting into Sim racing and looking at her first rig. Appreciate this in depth video and also your content on your new iracing career. Will be watching your progress.
Hey Sarah! Thanks a lot for the video. I'm getting into simracing and this setup looks amazing. I've just purchased your setup lol :D Look amazing, can't wait for it to arrive!
@@SarahNocchi i watched a bunch of reviews and they showed a lot of flex on the wheelbase and the pedals. Do you notice it? Keep up the good content Sarah:)
Really good review of this rig and your setup. Personally I've got 4080 profile rig and I'm happy with it. Wishing you all the best in simracing, enjoy every minute of this fantastic hobby.
Thank you so much!! I love this rig a lot for the adjustability and the formula position, but in the future I would love to also have a profile rig more focused on GT racing, with shifter and handbrake.
Thanks for posting, that looks like a really sweet setup. I was thinking to build my own rig for for a space sim but seeing how well your setup has been put together I may go with something like you have done here.
Nice set-up PEROID! I wanted to get that same rig but the company did not ship to Hawaii Island, so with days of researching I found a company that would ship. Love the easy adjustments...ALOHA!
Nice. I like that it's quickly adjustable. It's pain for me to adjust my current set up when my wife or friends want to try it out. Thanks and keep racing.
Thanks a lot! I have had mine for about 3 years too, but was mostly using it to train before taking my car to the track. Now I am really starting to invest more time into it to improve my skills and start racing more competitively.
Glad I could help! Took me 3 years to get a dash, and now I wonder how I could do without it 😂 so so helpful! you will love the TR160! Thanks for the comment and support 😊
Great review Sarah. This just popped up on my recommended & Im glad it did! Love your set up especially the triple screen. 😍 Look forward to many more videos!
Wow, TrackRacer did a good job there. I personally love my P1-X and wouldn't trade it for any other rig, but the adjustability at your TRX is awesome. I wish you all the best for your RU-vid career. Enjoyable content so far 👌🏻 Greetings from Cologne, Germany.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the support. I had a P1X before and loved it! The adjustability and look was what attracted me most on the TRX. But both are equally awesome in my mind ;)
It's so incredible to see so many women getting into gaming/sim racing! The video was more well done than anything I've seen so far. I have been struggling to find the right cockpit and this might be the one for me. I will be sharing it with my son, so the adjustability seems perfect for us! I already have a triple monitor setup, but they are only 27 inches and they are flat panels. Are curved monitors better you think? I feel like they might be, but I'm really not sure.
Glad to hear! Happy the video was helpful! This rig is perfect for sharing. So easy to adjust, and you are really not compromising on the quality/rigidity either! Curved monitors might be easier on the eyes, but not necessary, especially if they are not too large. The immersion will still be great ;)
@@SarahNocchi Perfect! Thank you so much! I will probably end up getting some 32" curved monitors to go with it. Did the butt kicker seem worth it? I know it helps with feeling the road, but is it actually beneficial? Thank you again for all the info and sorry if I'm being a pest lol.
@@chrisharris2153 My pleasure! No need to apologize at all, I am always happy to give my feedback based on my experience :) For the butt kicker, it depends what your expectations are. For me it's a must, and it's my next buy for my other rig, because of the immersion factor. It is not necessary and does not help your driving, but it makes it more fun. You can decide what to tone up or down, so it's enjoyable without being too much. For me it is really important for the shifts, really makes them more real ;)
@@SarahNocchi Awesome! That's exactly what I needed to know! I never understood the reason people get them or what the benefit was. Have you ever tried motion sims? I've found a couple of decent ones. They don't do a full 360, but the have slight yaw, but full pitch and roll. If it had full 360, could you imagine spinning out and you're holding on for dear life pulling 3g's in your room? hahahaha! When I get my set-up I will have to show it to you! I even thought about building my own, but I'm not sure yet. Thanks again for all the help and happy racing!
Nice video and great review... At the time I started the sim racing scene - I tried the TR8 model and there was flex when using the wheelbase.. Instead I opted with the TR160... Looking at the TRX - they seemed to mitigate those issues... 👍
Thank you, I appreciate it! Depending on the wheelbase you are using, definitely need a strong rig to support it and avoid flex.. The TR160 looks like a great rig too :) I was a bit worried with the TRX at first, but pleasantly surprised with the quality and strength of it!
@@SarahNocchi 🔴🏁What I'd like to see on your channel is: presentations of new hardware, such as the new GT Neo steering wheel from Simagic, which will be compatible with most direct drive bases; what you're adding to your setup to make it evolve, towards a dynamic chassis for example; discoveries of circuits, cars (Race Sim Studio, VRC, United Racing Design) and new games (Assetto Corsa 2, Le Mans Ultimate); vlogs about sim racing exhibitions and finally interviews with real racing drivers. Maybe you won't be able to do everything, but I'll give you a few ideas to keep your channel attractive and diversified.😉
@@funhobbiesunlimited Love this!! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and ideas! I will for sure try to do a few of these at least. Really appreciate the support and feedback, thank you again ☺
A great review! The new rig, really looks sturdy :) I have the same Fanatec base & pedals as you, & bundeld with a Track Racer TR8 & Sparco seat :) Really happy with it! :) Will you upgrade your DD1, with the QR2? :)
Thanks! I love the new rig. How do you like the TR8? I don’t think I’ll change the DD1 for now because I am really happy with it and it’s still working well. I heard that TrakRacer is coming up with their own wheel base and pedals, maybe I’ll give them a try once they release them 😉
@@SarahNocchi Yeah! I heard so. Will not change my DD1 either, as I have been realøy happy with it. But excited to see what the upgrade eventually is :) As there have been a big boom in the market since COVID, there is now a lot more brands, then before! Very happy with my TR8, very sturdy rig, and like yours, quite a particular design! Which makes it stand out :)
@@eriknaamot Agree! I have been thinking of building a second rig that would be more GT focused, with shifter and e-brake in the future. Maybe I'll go with TR8 too. And maybe try simucube, for the new active pedals!
@@SarahNocchi Yeah! Simcube is really cool or SimMagic is also a great alternativ together with Asetek :) For wheel rims Esportsim, Cubecontrols & GSI 😎😎 The TR8 is a great alternativ! Do enjoy the new rig! Looks great :)
Hey congrats on starting the YT. Seems like a great set up, I went F-GT elite with Fanatec hardware as well. I’m on a single ultrawide but also a Varjo Aero VR headset, if you haven’t tried high fidelity VR I’d highly recommend it. I just uploaded my first sim racing video as well (mainly moto channel). Hope to see more content, cheers!
Hey! Thanks a lot, appreciate it. Congrats on your channel too! Looks like you have a great setup as well. I have tried VR at my friend's once but it gave me a headache 🥺 Are you able to play with the headset comfortably for a long period of time?
@@SarahNocchi It’s been a fun time and surprising that such a niche topic (KTM 890R) has gotten good response. I’m curious to see what adding sim racing into the content mix does, it also seems like a small but enthusiastic community. It’s great to see response to your first videos and this one being pushed to me by the YT algorithm, gives hope for organic growth folks. Definitely keep going! I actually lead the implementation of XR/VR at a space tech company so I’m a bit spoiled with what I’m using. Motion sickness or headaches can be due to improper IPD adjustment but the Varjo changes the lenses distance automatically so it really helps with comfort. That coupled with the internal fans helps me enjoy for hours of hotlapping or drifting at a time. My rig can also do the lie flat but I’ve got a GT style chair on it right now, what do you think of the more aggressive F1 seating configuration? I also haven’t done any true pvp racing so if you could kick out a video with your experience on that I’d be really interested.
!@@AlejandrosEngineeredLifestyle That is awesome! I am sure people will enjoy it ;) I am thinking about sharing some videos about my car as well, maybe.. see if it does well or not. I feel very lucky, I did not expect so much views on a first video! Super happy and excited to keep creating content :)
To be honest I tried the VR a few years back already so the technology probably also improved a good amount since then. I guess I owe to give it another try one of these days! I love the F1 seating config, but can't play it that way for too long, my legs tend to get tired. However the hybrid seating position feels amazing to me! I have mostly done training for the track (before taking my car) and just skills learning, but I will start sharing my career on iRacing soon 😉
@@SarahNocchi Certainly, please do share both. I am also a BMW enthusiast but have yet to do anything but a couple autocross events. I’ve got a N54 coupe and B58 X3 and I love a good inline 6. I’ve modified the N54 extensively to have 523 crank HP up from the claimed 300 which is a blast. I’d love to hear about where simulation lacks and perhaps things to be prepared for when tracking. I’m looking forward to what you’ve got in the works.
Great video! Just starting to look into building my first rig, and this was very helpful. Was it hard to set up everything in iracing or was it pretty much plug and play? Maybe a tutorial video on that would be awesome!
Nice rig. I prefer VR but have done some racing on triples and it's really immersive. That hardware frame is immense! Envious of that Podium bundle as well (Fanatec's massive logistics and shipping problems mean I've been waiting since last November and doubt I'll get my DD until at least April). Highly recommend you also pick up ACC and AC (with CSP, Pure and Content Manager to manage mods, tracks and setups). Two great Kunos sims. It's very nice to be able to jump between sims and there's some really enjoyable fun leagues and groups to do weekly races if you just fancy improving racecraft without ruining iRacing SR. See you on the track 🏁
Nice Setup, I bought a Fanatec Clubsport Racing Wheel F1 Bundle, I hope I will get it soon from shipping, I will start with SIM Racing as new comer, but I drove in the past with controller, now I want to feel the rece feeling with a whell from Fanatic
Your set up is amazing! My boyfriend races & I race on his rig too, just more for fun right now. Its so refreshing to see a female racer, gives me inspiration to do things a bit more seriously 😅❤
Thank you so much! Appreciate the comment! ❤ Happy to inspire other women that are into racing and getting more serious about it. Don't hesitate to reach out about anything if you have any questions or just want to chat ;)
I have quite similar setup with TRX rig and DD2, but with heusinkveld ultimates. Atleast with those pedals i found the pedal tray to be not strong enough so i went and bought some 4mm angle iron and bolted that to the under side of the pedal tray which made it alot better, but honestly at the price point which this rig comes with, it should come with more rigid pedal tray from the factory. otherwise the rig is decently solid. Other thing is that mounting accesories to this rig is bit tricky even mounting shifter and a hand brake at the same time can lead to bit of thinking. Another thing i also had the 22 - 32inch monitor stand, which was complete disapointment, it had so many flaws that it made my head hurt. - Apparently there are different version of it for different regions (dont ask me why but thats what trak racer told me), and the EU one has a stupid flaw, the legs of the mount are not far away enough from each other that you could have the TRX rig between them so i ended up having the displays 120cm away from my eyes. (way too far away with 32 inch monitors btw) - The bolt holes for mounting the monitor to the stand were not aligned so i had to drill my own holes into one of the plates. - Adjusting the monitors into the position you want is nearly impossible, and the monitors tend to sag with this mount. - The legs of this stand were somehow uneven, so it was swinging a bit before sticking something under the other leg of the stand. So in the end i ended up biting the bullet and just purchasing another monitor stand from Simlab which was honestly 100 times better than this, and honestly i cant stress enough how good the Vario vesa system is, honestly adjusting the monitors to your liking will just make you smile because its so easy and solid. Adjustability is great though, i have a lot of friends that come and drive the sim and its really easy to set it up for different sizes of people and between gt and formula driving position. which is kind of the main selling point of it. it really takes under a minute to change between these styles of driving. Im happy with the rig, but honestly at its price point there are things they could improve on it, after all its 1100€ before a seat or any kind of monitor mounting system.
guess now i know what to get in my next upgrade. Thank you bud. I just discovered your channel and will subb now. Keep making this good content thank you \m/
Love it! I am planning on doing a very similar setup. Would you mind sharing the rough footprint / dimensions? Trying to figure out how much space this takes up. Thanks!
What a setup! I'm thinking about getting G9 57" curved instead of multiple monitors. It is suppose to be for work as well, but I also hope it can provide good spacial awareness, even if with a bit forced FOV.
Great video review - thank you. My team has 7 female drivers so always good to see more females racing. I've subscribed and looking forward to see more of your content.
That is awesome! That is the type of comments I love to read. So glad more female are getting into racing. Thank you so much for the support, and please let me know if there is any specific type of content you would like to see!
@@SarahNocchi Would be good to see your sim racing journey. Stream some races or, if you don't feel comfortable live-streaming, record and do highlights with your commentary. Do you do any team endurance racing or just solo?
My pleasure, happy I can help! I think they really have a nice offering with this rig, nothing else in the current market compares in term of adjustability.
Hi, great setup, but from what I can see at the end of the video, your monitors are not configured properly in iRacing for rendering on triple monitots setup.
Hey great review of the rig. If you change the angle of your screens in iracing you’ll get better fov. Looks great but you should definitely be able to see mirror on right side.
Looks a great setup, congrats! You maybe have to get those diffusers for the monitor joins to remove the bezels, give you even more wrap around feel. I don't think I space the space for a triple setup. What is the width of the 3 monitors at the widest point? I'm in the progress of assembling my cockpit, (GT Omega Prime) and waiting for all the Moza gear to arrive.
Nice review, think you sold me on buying the frame and seat. Thinking of going Simagic Alpha and the P2000 pedals. Do you think larger monitors are worth it or is 32” the sweet spot?
Awesome, glad I could share my thoughts and experience! I am sure you won't regret going with the TRX! I am not very familiar with Simagic but I have heard good things. For the monitors, I think the quality is more important than the size so it all depends on your budget, and how you set them up. I sit pretty close to my monitors and I think the 32" is definitely a great size, but I don't think going to 34" would be bad either. Just not necessary 😉 Please keep me updated of what you end up getting!
Thanks for such a detailed breakdown and review of your setup. I have a question for you. What software do you use to put real-time data on tthe small screen in front of you?
Nice .Tubular cockpits are great but I chose an aluminium profile rig because I like my wheel lower than most and it gives me greater adjustability .I use a single 48 in 4k monitor but triple monitors might be a step up .One day,
Hi! Do you plan on creating content for iRacing? For some reason its the only sim racing that I find interesting to watch. I guess the high competitive and respectful comunity does it. One day I'll have a rig like yours! Cheers!
Hi Sarah thanks for sharing your setup with us. I really like your setup. Could you please share the dimensions ( overall floor foot print with monitors) as i intend to use the same 32 ich curved monitors as you. Thanks again for the Video, happy racing.
Some have complained about flex in the pedal tray? Is there any flex? If so how much. I was tempted to buy this last year but was put off by the flex rumours.
I have heard complains too, but I haven't felt any flex. To be 100% transparent, as you see in the video I like a more hybrid seating position, so the pedals are not fully up/flat. I think most people get some flex when in that position. But I also heard that it's not really noticeable when driving, even if you might see some flex on video. Definitely hasn't been an issue for me, but I might try to move the pedals just to test it out and be able to give you a better response 😉
if you are going to put more money into this in the future make sure it's to upgrade to at least 120hz+ monitors. 60hz is the biggest bottleneck of your setup by far. higher refresh rates will add so much more responsiveness and make everything smooth as butter. i can't even use windows on 60hz any more, let alone any video game/sim.
