Traktor Kontrol S5 Talkthrough Video 

This was too far ahead of its time! It's exactly what I need in 2023!

The build quality is fantastic (as with all Native Instruments devices). I love how NI is trying to change the way people DJ, even if I don't personally play the way NI is trying to push it. I would be really pleased if NI made a CDJ style standalone player that isn't a controller.

would of been nice to get rid of the cross fader and place the performance pad along the bottom. really no need for a cross fader on this device, i can mix up and down just fine

I recently made the upgrade to this controller and while no you can not plug in a turntable or cdj into the unit you can of course plug in midi devices into the laptop for additional functionality. I have two F1's for the S5 which brings back in more control over my stems and remix decks and I have my old Numark Mixtrack 2 I've easily mapped to tracktor for jogwheels and pitchfaders when needed so that is always an option for midi controllers is to add additional controllers for added functionality

can you use the S5 and 2 X1 mk2 controllers? X1's for the deck control and the S5 as a mixer/remix decks?

what's your input on the pitch control seen that it is rotary now

Can i work him without laptop, can i connect him with mobile or just with usb?

Is it possible to reprogram the S5 stems buttons for other functions as I do not use stems much when I DJ. Thx
