@Fooshiiii Yeah thats because I hit the wrong button on my X1. I actually re-mapped my cue play button on my X1 so I couldn't demonstrate it. Try just hitting the cue play button in the deck in Traktor and it should play on release
Make sure your on the latest version of Traktor. Also make sure the files can play inside of iTunes. If they can play in iTunes try ctrl clicking on the itunes icon in Traktor and choose "refresh" and see if they play. Make sure your dragging the songs from the itunes playlists and not from Traktor collection as well. If they play in iTunes they should be able to play in Traktor unless its an unsupported file type.
Yup, the track after that was Blond:ish - Lonely Days (Noir Music 2). The version I used in the video was a special Dub version they made for me but the vocal version is amazing and samples smokey robinson (just figured this out yesterday when going through acapellas). This tracks been doing really well for me. I play it in almost every set!
Yes, in fact I do this for every track. What I do is make my load marker, then click the "Map" button in the cue section, and then click on the number "1". If the beatgrid is mapped to number one, Traktor will map the load marker to cue point 1, but the beatgrid marker will still be there. It just won't be numbered. This way you only have one cue point on that beat and not 2. You can also go to preferences, analyze options and turn off the option for "Store Beatmarker as hotcue"
Try turning off the option for "Store Beatmarker as Hotcue" and this should fix your problem. Also sometimes when you use metadata sync with Traktor DJ, it tends to map your grid marker to a new hotcue I noticed.
You need to turn the Quantize button off if you want Traktor to jump to the hotcue the instant you press the hotcue button. The quantize button is the "Q" button at the top center of the Traktor screen next to the "Main" volume knob. If Q (Quantize) is on, Traktor will wait for the next downbeat before triggering the hotcue.

Make sure you recalibrate your S2 by going to preferences - traktor kontrol s2 and choose "recalibrate". Recalibrate the Jog wheels and you might as well recalibrate all of your knobs and faders.
what's up dj endo, im a new to tracktor and my question to you is why my itunes files won't play when i drag them to tracktor a warning mesages reads, files may be missing or corrupted.
Hey Endo. Is there a way to change the loop rotary encoder 'turn' sensitivity on my Kontrol X1 MK2 so that (when I hold the 'sync' button and turn the loop rotary encoder to manually adjust BPM) it will adjust the BPM in really fine increments? (so I can go from 120.03 to 120.02 to 120.01 to 120.00 BPM etc) Even with the Tempo Range set to 2%, I can't make really fine BPM adjustments. Is there a controller mapping for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
is it me or did that CUP mode do exactly the same thing after he changed it...&it seems to do nothing in real life too....i dont get this feature! is it for remix decks only?
why does my traktor pro auto go internal mixing with Z2 mixer extrernal mode the volume fader moves by itsself and i have use my mouse to raise back up while i'm mixing on turntables w/Z2 mixer
First of all, I would never recommend using the Setup Wizard since it resets all of your settings. I only recommend this for people using Traktor for their very first time. You can change your tempo fader range by going to Preferences - Tempo - "Set Tempo Range to". Try saving your collection after making the preferences changes by ctrl (right) clicking the track collection and choosing save collection. If it keeps resetting you might be opening the wrong version of Traktor
endo im going crazy here, i have traktor scratch pro 2 and was all working well and then i re done the wizard, in transport mode it used to be set tempo range to 4% and current tempo range was 8%, when i re done the wizard it now is 100% CURRENT TEMPO RANGE and its impossible to mix techno on that setting, so i turn it back to 4% and everything goes to 4% including current tempo and set tempo range!!! and when i close traktor and re open it it is back at 100% :( help!!!
My recommendation is make sure to let Traktor install the application to its default location and never move the application. The correct Traktor version should be located in applications / native instruments / Traktor. If you've moved the application file, it might be pointing to an old Traktor collection. Be sure its pointed to documents / native instruments / traktor 2.6 / collection.nml
I want to give reference to all the people who still haven’t use tractor software or tractor dj equipment and planning to buy them in the future My reference to you is DO NOT BUY TRACTOR DJ SOFWARE OR CONTROLER. 1. customer support is poor, example: they don’t know answer, they will hang up on you But first good luck of finding their contact phone number 2. Tractor DJ software audio has pop,,click, audio freeze, audio cut out, audio slowdown and has glitchy sound. 3.there is no solution to fixing all these problem and thinking about refund u can forget it because you won’t get a refund. There u go; SO DO NOT BUY TRACTOR SOFWARE I want to do this because I went through so many headaches with tractor software and problem is not solve and it will not be solved My equipment owned 1.tractor z2 2.tractor s4 mk2
