The first 33 seconds were shot at Ferrymead, Christchurch.

Yes Ferrymead is in there because we (from Motat) were there for Ferrymeads opening.

Awesome films, brought back happy memories, thanks for posting these 👍 Lots of Onehunga trolleybus scenes, including Church Street & the big ARA Church Street bus/trolleybus depot, note the mustard and white Suburban Buses Ltd Bedfords in that depot rather than the SBL Captain Springs Road depot, ARA took over SBL & PTC on 1st April 1972. The movie playing at the 'Civic' is 'They Still Call Me Trinity'(Terrence Hill still going strong at 83) released on 21/10/1971. Queen Street Onehunga was converted to a pedestrian mall in 1973, sadly the ARA used that as an excuse to shut down the Onehunga trolleybus route. Plus a few mark:3 Cortina's on the roads, they came out in 1971 in NZ. So the time posting fits for 1972. That brown and white DCC trolleybus is from Dunedin, brought up to Auckland by MOTAT, remember seeing it running excursions on the Auckland system, it sadly ended up in a Penrose scrap yard, could see it there from my commuter train in the 1990's.
