@cinecanchita2842exactly the writers gave us hints who was about to be axed in 86 I thought Megatron killed screamer in hoist goes hollywood when he ripped his circuits out
Not going to lie, considering how much attention and development Bumblebee got through the movies and recent shows, I could totally see him being a modern successor of Optimus Prime. I know that Hot Rod got the role in g1 but a more mature Bumblebee could totally pull it off too.
@@flashfan123campbell8 You're right, and I think that bit is consistent about Bumblebee's leadership skills: he's reliable but maybe not cut out for exactly that job. Personally I think it's not necessarily a loss for Bumblebee's character. Maybe he's more approachable that way. Maybe Hot Rod AKA Rodimus Prime, in his core, has a better idea of the big picture than Bumblebee and that's why he's better suited to become the leader. And that's totally fine. Bumblebee has his own special set of attributes that make him stand out. Weak and small, but that's only face value. If Bumblebee is the last Autobot standing, you always know there's a chance.
I love that you can clearly see a partially-erased "H" after the C in "Czech". Like the animator wrote "Check", got corrected, and could not be bothered even to fully rub out the error.
A good episode with Bumblebee saving the day . And Tracks with his sarcastic remark to The mighty Megatron. And Megatron calls him a flippant fool priceless
Bumblebee is so brave despite his small stature. I love him more now because of this episode. I liked how he went straight to Megatron fearlessly. And that Marksmanship while inside the tornado? Bumblebee has awesome speed and aim xD i love that small bot.
Not to mention sick driving! The bump on the wall was bad luck. Otherwise he would've landed on his wheels, I'm sure. I don't remember that Bumblebee has EVER been badmouthed by the other Autobots in the series or even in the comics. I think this episode shows exactly why. The little guy has clas A++ skills and carries way more than his weight. The dude must have proven himself numerous times... but sadly doesn't get it.
@@andrewquick4176 considering he saved the movie part of the franchise I wouldn’t really be complaining, also he’s still gonna be a reoccurring main character no matter how much you whine lol
What I find funny about this episode is that Auggie Cahnay ended up being featured in RID2001. Yeah, he was dead, but he ended up returning to a TF reboot (despite Car Robots being in the same canon as the Japanese dub of this cartoon) faster than Spike did. And Auggie only appears in this one episode.
6:03 His escape while the decepticons talked just cracked me up, especially his climbing out of the valley. And all the jewels around the gold casing for the Pearl reminded me of Roger's golden *cough ahem* from American Dad.
@@rex117captain8 Half of Hollywood did too. Believe the Soviet Union would last that is. Hence really dated and stupid movies like Red Dawn. The leading economists of the world however made a statement in 1979 that the economy of the Soviet Union had a lethal (and I mean lethal in a bad way) combination of being ripe with corruption and stuck with economic theory which was valid in the 1930's but utterly unsuited for the world of the 1980's. This meant that they assessed it would last another ten years and would have collapsed by 1989... As it were they were only off by another two years since the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991. But here's the real historical lesson: The Soviet Union was neither the first nor will they be the last power to go collapse when the economy goes south. Anyways, I'd say the animators didn't really do their homework and just crudely drew a map from memory and add the countries they "remembered". No predictions there. I'm fairly certain they had no idea there even was an East and West Germany back then.
Yet in Masterforce, made in 1988 but set in 2020, an East German young male criminal named Hydra is recruited by Decepticons to become a Godmaster or Powermaster pilot for a transforming West German Panavia Tornado ECR attack jet.
This episode - along with something like Attack Of the Autobots - shows Bumblebee living up to his character profile.: taking unnecessary risks, probably to prove himself to the others. Who else walks up to Megatron like that? Or takes on a tornado? That little bot has nerves of steel. I can easily believe that the other Autobots actually marvel at him. They don't have a half of the guys feist and courage. Another thing that comes to mind: I don't remember Bumblebee EVER being made fun of by the other Autobots! He's just one of the damn gang. He has been treated as an equal among the troops all the way by everybody. Maybe this is why.
Considering humans can clearly see the faction logos and it's not some in-universe invisible thing for viewers' convenience, you'd think people would report Decepticons more, or that the Decepticons would cheat and cover it up.
I wonder why Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Wheeljack, or Smokescreen didn’t transform to robot mode fast enough to fire on the Stunticons? Or why didn’t those four Autubots fire at the Stunticons in vehicular mode?
So...Menasor can resist the super storm the Pearl creates when opened, BUT after taking Cahnay's car to his face he goes down for the count?! 🤪 No wonder the Deceps lost the war! 😝
What other Autobots could possibly be seen from 4:48 to 4:55? Wheelie or Sandstorm (Orange), Outback (Tan), Trailbreaker or Scamper (Black), Tailgate or Searchlight (White), Chromia or Blurr (Light Blue), Greenlight or Springer (Light Green)
I'm pretty sure this episode takes place between "starscreams brigade" and "the revenge of bruticus" that explains no starscream here and no Menasor for the rest of the season. What with taking a race car to the face and all.
This is an example how stereotyping was in the US as how Istanbul was shown as an Arabian city. I didn't understand it as a child but It was a shock when I saw Istanbul as an adult.
This episode is one of many pieces of evidence on why Menasor is the strongest combiner (he was only defeated here due to Auggie Cahnay catching him off-guard). Plus, this is my favorite episode of the show, due to my favorite Combiner team taking on some of my favorite Autobots.
I thought Menasor being the strongest combiner had to do with him having all five components’ automatic force fields, high power and speed specs, and an appetite for destruction that makes Megatron proud
Also just adding this on, Superion is able to take them down, making him Menasor’s equal if not stronger. Probably because they were created from actual Cybertronian aircraft instead of Earth vehicles, modified by Wheeljack, Ratchet, and Alpha Trion himself (the one who rebuilt Prime as a warrior), and naturally have the air advantage
7:31 I really need to know the lead-up historical events that caused Europe to turn out like that. Or if the race organizers just really suck at geography.
@@kristianpolanco8259 I'm surprised that Wheeljack was participating in the race and not in his lab making up a crazy invention that blows up in his face. Then again, his alt mode is a race car.
Auggie Cahnay is a big mouth jerk. I hate that creep. In the end, Auggie finds out the race is a fake was created by Megatron and he gives up becoming a racer by starting charity. In the Transformers Legends Japanese toy manga. Auggie Cahnay marries Astoria Calton Ritz has a son named Auggie Cahnay Jr. That he wants to be a racer just like his dad. And, his car was steal by the Stunticons and the Aerialbots stop them. And, Auggie with his wife Astoria lectures their stubborn son Auggie Jr. not to be a racer by reading his old diary.
Another good episode they made in a short half hour episode. If they also included more Autobots like Mirage, Jazz and put other autobot and decpticon characters in it. This would have even been better. This is one episode which could have even made to be alot longer episode and even better.
They really should have added frenzy to more of these episodes instead of defaulting to just rumble Still isn’t as shafted as buzzsaw despite being the pack in
The Transformers Generation 1: Season 2 Episode, "Trans-Europe Express" Is One of My Favorite Transformers Generation 1 Episodes ! The G1 Episode is about the Popularity of European Car Races ! This Classic Transformers Cartoon Episode Is One of the Most Memorable Episode of the Classic Transformers Cartoon Series ! I like this Classic Transformers G1 Cartoon Episode !
Pretty sure Drag Strip the Stunticon would win this race seeing he's an F1 car 😅 and LOL at the map, did they use liquid paper on the "Czech" wording? Did a kid draw the names? Lmao
15:49 Wasn't the Nemesis buried in the ocean, unless this takes place after Rhinox rammed the Ark's mini shuttle onto the bridge of the Nemesis, and through the Nemesis.
No. The ship that became Decepticon Headquarters was Meg's 2nd ship in the pilot series in an attempt to leave Earth. The Nemesis crashed in South America. The weather controller probably was ejected prior to it's crash to Earth. It was this ship that you are referring to.
@@jgvillan01 In Beast Wars the Nemesis originally crashed in the ocean until BW Megatron discovered it and surfaced it. After the Maximals defeated Megatron, the Nemesis crashed in South America.
Beast Wars is a sequel that takes place during the 4 Million years between when the Autobot's and Decepticon's crashed on Earth, and when they woke up sometime in the early 1980s, except it was released after G1 concluded. It also incorporates some comic canon.
In the ep "Microbots", a news reporter stood by a map of México, but Prime led the Autobots to S. America to find the Nemesis. It was exposed by archaeologists, but the Autobots recovered it with a rockslide. The Insecticons' escape pod landed in prehistoric Bali. Megatron says a Cybertronian machine housed the weather control device and was destroyed. The flashback certainly makes the machine or spaceship look just like the Nemesis, but it doesn't outright say they were the same. That machine is shown crashing into a jungle near a mountain. S. America would have worked great for that. But how would the weather control device have moved from S. America to Turkey before the 1400s? The machine must have been some other shop besides the Nemesis, and it must have crashed somewhere near Turkey. At any rate, the Decepticons' ship that they tried to return to Cybertron in was called the Victory. But as it crashed into the ocean and became the Decepticons' new base, it was not... victorious.
It never makes me not laugh when they talk like humans, or casually say how they need a human archeologist despite being the most advanced technology on the planet lol.
So many powerful relics like the heart of cybertron, the pearl of bahudin, lost because of the war. When they could have been used to help their planet.
Ratchet (prob be like after seeing the autobots return from the race): omg what happened to y’all ?! It’s only a race and it looks like megatron ran u through a trash compactor! Can u guys just stay at HQ and not get damaged for once?
20:53 Neato torpedo, that pearl was supposed to be all powerful and like really dangerous, then Bumblebee just shot at it with his laser gun/pistol just like that, just as if it was easier than we thought? I mean, how was that even possible?
