I have the same one of this mower I had reverse issue I looked up a video on this matter and it was a simple fix had to adjust the shift linkage by lossing the adjustment bolt on it I have a video of it. On my RU-vid channel

I have an odd problem, just 1st n reverse, lose them all if try and go past 3rd position, so perhaps someone did same to mine.. should post which keys you used..

The shift fingers are worn. Item 8 in the parts exploded view. Shown as back order on Searspartsdirect.

I replaced my shift keys, I have the DIY on video I just have not had time to edit and add it. It has been great with new keys and fresh trans fluid!
