Yes if you look closely at the video you'll see I've installed on my machine. I know I was big on LastPass before, but things change. I am now supporting 1password if they mess up then I'll tell you what I'm changing to then.

I'll take a look at bitwarden I've been feeling impressed with one password it's not making the news like lastpasses every two days because it's been a breach and they just now supported passkeys which make it even easier but I will check out bitwarden

I'm a last pass user and find the price compared to 1Password about the same. So...is there any benefit of 1Password over LassPass that I need to be aware of? I like Lastpass so i need a compelling case to change if a change is required. Thanks much for the very informative video.

If anyone is anyone is moving to 1Password be very careful my experience was not so good. If you want to export it exports into a 1PUX Extention. It is some kind of special Zip type of file, but very complicated to export into a CSV like every other password manager I have had. Plus if you want to do anything you have to get the App for MS Windows. Then most apps when you export give you the option to choose your file format, but not this one. This one you only get to choose your location then it exports into a 1PUX format. So be very careful with this app.

Dont trust lastpass anymore, ima be changing to bitwarden or 1password today or tomorrow ill miss lastpass but simply dont trust it anymore

Agreed, as I mentioned in the video there are two issues 1. is a loss of feature(s) issue and 2. Is a possible ethical issue. I do feel that "at this moment in time" uses should pass on LastPass. If things change, I'll revisit it. Do you use a security key?

@@TheHiTechNomad I actually dont use a security key but i put all the security features on my account like 2 verification sms message and others but i might get one soon!

@@pow4729 Dont use sms message as your 2FA, its easy to get access to that. Rather use an Authenticator application (ie Google Authenticator).

Oh I totally agree!! I prefer the method of using a security key as your 2fa. Many people don't realize that most of their text messages are available on their carriers website under a messaging.

I switched from 1Password to Bitwarden. Bitwarden is equally as good as 1Passworrd, in fact I prefer the interface, and it is free! (I used 1Password for a few years; have been using Bitwarden now for maybe a year - it's excellent)
