Assuming none of our guy transfer and DC/Castle - Declare for draft we will have 3 not 2 open spots for transfers. We had only 12 scholarship players on this years team

read the beat writers quotes about what they are doing. They aren't just going portaling like the rest. They have a formula and they're sticking too it. Even with the guys slated to return. Has to make sense for both parties.

This is a kid that could be a sleeper, long, good shooter, athletic. Just don't know his background if he fits who they want to bring in

40% from 3pt land at 6’6” is nice. From what I read the only question is can he play defense at the higher level. I think he’d be awesome off the bench for big veteran minutes. Strong 3 guard rotation of a relentless Diarra, a physically dominant Ball (Nowell is a 6’ brick coming in) and a dagger 3pt shooting Dubar would be filthy.

Avila woild flourish in tje Hurley offense . Imagine this offense with a 3pt shooter at the 5? But im not sure he rebounds and defends at the level we need at the 5.

i don't think he's a fit, I think he's a good mid range guy but Uconn is a 3's, and drive and dish group. Good 2's, Don't think he fits their profile.

Don’t know if a shoot first point guard is the answer for UConn. Great scorer but UConn needs a guy who will dish it and wait for their shot. 2.9 assists a game isn’t awful but Newtown (6.2) Spencer (3.6) Castle (2.9) and 2023 Jackson (4.7) and Newtown (4.7) all have higher passing numbers. Passing like the 80’s Celtics is the knife that butters UConn’s bread.

Seth Trimble (UNC) 6’ 3” was the 2nd best on ball defender I saw last year behind Stephon Castle. He’s in the portal. He’s athletic and attacks the basket.

I hear you. His 3 pt percentage improved to 42% as a sophomore. I think that he’ll flourish in a system that better valued his defense and developed his offensive skills. He seemed misused at UNC. Hopefully he’ll be a help wherever he lands.

Roddy Gayle Jr, young kid from New York State out of Ohio St. Good size at 6’4” 210lb. Made leaps and bounds from freshman to sophomore year. Only drawback was his 3pt shooting dropped. Think he’d he great to pair with Diarra, Ball, maybe Dubar.
