If you've watched the video till the end, the goldfish was removed from the tank right after the Aro was transfered. They were used to help cycle the tank faster.

Bigger risk if it's covered with glass or acrylic.. the net lid provides enough Flex to absorb impact just in case the Aro jumps.

I'm using Aquasyncro C8000 it's 8000L/H what's the height and width of your 4ft tank? You need at least x4 flow rate.

Ramu, do you mean what kind of Aro? this is a Super Red Arowana from Hengki Farm (Indonesia) price for small size 5" is around $800-1000 USD (price here in Philippines)

Hi Alex, I did not use air pump. I'm using AquaSyncro C8000 (8,000 L/hr) for my sump, the K1 media moves fine with the flow :)

Sorry, I don't really understand what you mean. You mean you did not use an air pump to fluidize the k1? Instead or air pump you used a power head pump is it?

No Airpump nor Power Head pump in the chamber where I put the K1 media. It just moves from the water flow that my Sump Pump generates.

I've tried adding power head pump before inside the K1 media chamber, but to save electricity I stop using it and just leave the k1 media flow from water current.. maybe because my sump pump is more than enough to make the K1 media move (strong enough to collide)

Adi Nug best if temp & ph are the same.. but if new tank has diff parameters, best thing to do is to acclimate longer.. slowly introduce the new water while Aro is still inside the plastic.

Adi Nug 20mins is fine.. no need for aerator, just make sure to tie the plastic as the Aro could jump if its opened.

Mark Hapatinga starve him for 1 starve him for 24 hours and see if he eats 2 do a big water change he can survive up to 72 hours without food but dont just in case 3 watch the king of diy youtube channel he has a video on that topic also any creeks nearby caus you can get fish from it make sure its clean 4 shrimp and crayfish are one of there most favourite foods and cheap so buy them dont support feeder fish sellers buy some goldfish not labled as feeder fish and breed them itll last forever

Stop feeding and starve your fish for a week and try feeding market prawn. Peel the shell and cut to small pieces and feed slowly. Your fish will definitely eat.

Water Town i just go down to a 5 min away creek from my house and a bring a bucket and large net 20 inches and scoop up at least 30 live prawns 5 live crayfish and lots of fish leave them in the in a quarantine system for 2 days and delicous food thats how i feed him when im away put 20 live shrimp 5 crayfish and feeder fish that lasts him up to a week

Live shrimp is great for arowana , not so sure about cray fish

Both are good products. Dipende kung san nasanay and hiyang Aro mo. Long term mas makaka save ka sa Prime. I just prefer Stresscoat kc yun gamit ko eversince.

no it's not noisy at all.. the only sound you will hear is the overflowing water from main tank to sump.. but you can do something to lessen that noise

your tank is just 22gal that is too small for a silver arowana. you might want to consider upgrading your tank at least to 75-100gal

if you're putting the silver aro on the concrete tank make sure its covered properly as Aro are jumpers.

Those are just test fish since the tank is new, just making sure it's already safe for my Aro. The goldfish were already moved to a different tank. Thanks for reminding the cover. ;)
