I figured out how to modify my Twinky, I ditched it and bought an Indian Roadmaster! It doesn't need any modifications! I still have my 84 FXR and my 49 Pan that's owned me for over 40 years.

One of the thing not mentioned when changing the LED inserts it will make your turn indicator too fast and needs to be reset. Canbus Turn the Ignition on, but do not start the bike Turn on your 4 way hazards by pressing the hazard button on the controls Turn the Ignition off letting hazards run. If the bike has security they will flash 5 or 6 times and then pause. This is expected. They will go back to flashing normal hazard mode Let hazards run 1-2 minutes Turn the ignition back on Turn the ignition off and then back on Check the function of both turn signals

Great vid man! Will def get a few of these. I have the same bike and was going the performance bagger path. Will a stage IV eliminate the leg warmers/cooling lower fairings? Im trying to find a way. Love the content specially since I have the same ride! 🔥🔥

Good stuff Drew 👍My slip-ons actually made a noticable difference in power too. I run the V&H Hi-Outputs. Never heard of that magnetic cover...cool idea.

Thanks, man. I totally agree with some, but I didn’t even think about two that you mentioned. The invisivin thing is an excellent idea. Never even thought of that one. The removal of the saddlebag guards is a good idea for looks. I haven’t dropped mine for about 3 years now, but just that once could have messed them bags up a bunch. So, I’m a little leery on that one. The first mods I do are LED lighting to the rear so I can make sure everybody from behind sees me (I had a friend killed when he stopped at a light and the guy behind him didn’t see him stop), highway pegs (gotta have options for the foot position on a long ride), LED lighting for the front (want to be seen from that angle too, but this is step 3 instead of step 1 because I think the lighting on the front is somewhat adequate stock, and then a backrest. The backrest allows me to turn a 500 mile day into an 800 mile day without feeling wore out.

Usually what I want to swap first is grips because I hate the stock grips but yes than light upgrades, windscreen and exhaust. That’d be the minimum that I’d do I think.

@@Touringmidwest Well, exhaust is a must. That’s for sure. The last 3 or 4 I bought had new exhaust before they left the dealership. We are 100% in agreement there.
