@@desert4seat thank you.. still works very well, Ive had no issues other than whenever I want to add something new or change something I have to look up how to it because I forget but really it’s pretty basic and easy to do Once I have a refresher.. other than that it just does what it’s supposed to do and I never really think about it.
@@Touringmidwest thanks for the response! I was a little concerned about reliability, I’m glad to know it has worked out well for you. I’ll definitely pull the trigger on one now
My left side stopped as well, I tested and tested and I believe it's either the light itself or there may be a break in the wire as yours did. quite ironic it's the left side as well. I sent Ciro an email to see if I could just purchase a left side light. I think I will also remove the grommet to let it work freely. appreciate the video and comments!
If this tent doesn't work for you for your motorcycle, I would suggest looking into the Catoma Outdoors IBNS Cots Spring Loaded Pop-up Tent that can be attached to the bed of a Military Cot or there Raiders Tent with Rain-Fly. I'm interested to find out your review use of the tent because some people tested it out in the rain and loved it and some found water inside on the floor the next morning, so there are some mixed reviews on whether or not these are good tents and worth the money or not? I've also seen a new advertisement from Reactive Outdoor on a newer much larger tent were the back door opens up to connect to a hatchback vertical trunk opening from a SUV vehicle. I'm curious about there vehicle connecting tent as well?
Yeah they have a few different options for tents. I was really impressed with the tents in the rain.. both of mine held up surprisingly well and stayed completely dry in heavy rain which I had serious doubts that they’d be dry but both of them were bone dry inside after a week with rain nearly everyday. I still need to get a video together regarding that test. I will have some updates, life has just gotten incredibly busy so I’ve had to take some time off from videos until I can get a handle on things and make time to record and edit.
I can understand about the cast messing with your head. I would call my daughter and tell her my broken wrist was having a panic attack. I had to do slow deep breathing to control the feeling. Thanks for sharing.
That is not good.. so far these have held up great in the rain.. actually way better than I expected but it’s good to here what others are experiencing so I can give fair reviews when I make another video about these.
Great detail and angles in the video. Much better than what I usually see. Helped me better understand the installation process as well as how the parts work. The best part was your positioning. That's exactly what I'm looking to do. Most other videos have them laying basically flat. I'm gonna check out your other videos.
If you drop a bike, the peg's lever hits ground before the engine guard... That may cause damage to the frame, since there is a leverage there to really torsion the part of frame where it's attached... Unless it breaks off before damage is done. Who knows...
@@jameswilbur1273 yes sir: ignition on, hazards on, ignition off.. wait for I think it’s maybe a couple of minutes with the hazards on and than again ignition on, hazards off, ignition off. After that everything should be synced up.
I bought a small size, the workmanship is excellent and a lot of thought went into the design, BUT the top is slightly concave (check out some vids and pics) and rainwater could puddle there because the small top cover is too small to cover the whole of the concave top. That's easy to solve by simply making our own larger cover from a spare bit of tent fabric, but i thought i'd mention it. Also, be aware the small size tent weighs a hefty 6 pounds which is a bit heavy for backpacking on foot or bicycle, so I think a motorbike or vehicle is needed. Suggestion to the tentmakers- bring out a 1-person version to cut down the weight.
@@mahreis17 I haven't tried mine in the rain yet, but somebody in another video says it leaks bad, but we've only got his word for it. Even if he's correct he should prove it by posting another vid zeroing in on the exact spots where he claims water is coming in..:) PS- anyway I routinely throw a big lightweight camo tarp over ALL my tents as insurance against any water that tries to get in, no big deal..:)
05/05/2024, (FYI to ALL), I recently purchased a Tury Fast Max for my 2014 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic (stock). Everything loads fine but after driving the bike a few miles and then stopping, the bike goes into factory limp mode throwing the following codes: P1510 - THROTTLE ACTUATOR CODE, P1512 - FORCED IDLE MODE, P2122 - ACCELERATOR POSITION SENSOR, P2127 - TWIST GRIP SENSOR 2, U0156 - LOST COMMUNICATION WITH SPEEDO. When I contacted Tury Fast, I was advised that it may be because I was using an android phone and they recommended that I try an apple phone. I tried an apple phone and the same thing occurred, with the same codes. “NOTE", a friend of mine recently purchased a 2023 Roadglide (stock), and he also had the same issues. It should also be noted that both my and his Tury Fast were purchased through the same Shop just a couple of days apart, so it’s unknown if maybe they were both part of a bad batch. (I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED ON THIS $300 DOLLAR ITEM, THAT THEY WON’T REFUND MY MONEY ON).
Just close your eyes like pin the tail on the donkey! 😂 I put a few of these CVO badges on tanks before. Just did another set last week. They are a pain in the ass to get right. Your way may get your right and left and up and down placement the same on both sides but your pieces of tape does not get the emblem level. when you’re sit on the bike under the riders weight they won’t look right. Use soapy water so you can move the emblem around and get it perfect and when you push on it, it will stick. As the water evaporates, it will really stick. The way you’re doing it it is set in stone as soon as it touches paint. And you know once that happens, they are not coming off again to readjust. Just sayin
Dude, I have 2 Soundz IRON 65 speakers ( I think they’re equivalent to the M65 speakers offered now? They were the low end speakers at the time.) with their lower grade amp in a 2017 Road Glide. My radio gets as loud as my buddy’s 4 speaker set up with H-D RF Boom Stage 3 set up. Where Soundz wins hands down is the clarity of the sound, and that amp is in the fairing, not taking up saddlebag space.
That actually would have worked pretty well other than the wire not being hidden. It’s a good idea that I hadn’t really thought of. I actually forgot that I even had the cigarette lighter port since I never use it.. I put a dummy plug in it and have not really thought about it since 😂 Anyways I bought a usb adapter that can be run to the battery or sae connector and I’m gonna run that along with a wireless apple CarPlay module.
Hello Andrew, it has been too cold for me to ride. I met you at the McDonald's at the gas station on Tuesday. I had the tilting Motor works added to my bike. Haven't learned to ride it yet. Enjoyed your video
I’ve run this setup for years on 3 different bikes now. On my Harley I took out the standard 12 volt plug and installed a usb C plug it turns on and off with the bike…I also use a wireless CarPlay adapter and it’s pretty much flawless!!
Great review!..I tried quadloc a few years ago...good sturdy product I thought...but it just would not work with my bars!...no matter how I set the holder up my phone was always facing downwards!...ended up going with rocform. Great video...thanks for sharing...stay safe out there!😎👍🤙👍🤙🇨🇦
@Touringmidwest ...correct almost the same locking system...the rocform has a second pivot point which was how I was able to get the correct angle so my phone was not facing downward all the time! I did like the fit and finish of the quadlock...it was well built! Stay safe out there!😎👍
