I had Khao Soi in a vegan restaurant in Thailand and there was a "drumstick" and the bone was a lemongrass stick. I don't really go for the fake meat, but I was impressed with the creativity.
I feel you! I discovered a plant-based drumstick at Expo West 2023 that had a sugarcane piece for the stick/bone replacement. It was DELICIOUS whether or not you eat meat!
Great interview. I used to do “VB6” intentionally a few years ago and quite enjoyed it, although overtime I ended up going back to eating animal products before dinner since I’m an all or nothing person… I now don’t eat animal products before dinner on most (but not all) days- not intentionally, but I’ve just realised that’s what I’m doing out of preference vs out of a restriction mentality ❤
Chef Babette is awesome! The interviewer’s questions and comments are very good and thought out. She seems very smart, however the tone in the voice sounds off. 🤷♀️ idk just sounds off, almost mean at times
