Mooji is quoted as saying, "It really is easier to discover the Self than to sort out our problems."
In the montage of human experience, ideas and attitudes are acquired, shaping emotions and behaviors, and consequently influencing the physical world that manifests as your experience. I interpret Mooji's insight as an encouragement to embrace the simplicity of learning to abide in the expanded state, recognizing your true self. By doing so, we gain the ability to perceive limited beliefs for what they truly are-unreal, false, lies.
Often, we convince ourselves that we need to heal something, that there's a constant repair work required within us. However, the shift in perspective to the true self brings an instant sense of freedom. If, in any given moment, I can recognize that the only thing that is True (or real) is what is whole and complete, always present, never born, and never dies-eternal, unlimited, infinite, blissful, unchanging awareness-then I understand that what feels limited is 'apparently real.' It exists but is part of the dream, and therefore, not real and NOT true. When I identify with the ego, feeling changed and affected by my experiences, and negative emotions arise, it serves as a signal that I am identifying with what is 'not real'; it is not my authentic self. It's like the actor who forgets they're in a play.
I can know that the negative beliefs is part of the theater of life that I came to explore, to show myself that I can overcome even the darkest limitation.
