Earthspark deserved a better toyline.

"Young upstart autobots that just happen to be really good at what they do" seems like it could be a fun little series concept. WE have enough of these characters to fill out a roster, so would be really neat to see them altogether and have them learn a bunch of lessons about working together and other stuff kids shows typically have as morals.

Man, Transformers really needs a proper renaissance, and by that I mean some crazy, out-there ideas. I'm hyped for Transformers One, but damn I'm tired of the Evergreen designs.

Ya know, I was initially pretty upset knowing Earthspark was getting canned, but after witnessing the absolute car crash that was Starscream’s Character assassination in the second season, I just couldn’t care less. Yet seeing what’s bring cooked up here, I just hope that this new show lives up to what Season One of Earthspark was.

It doesn't take as long to create a toyline when you don't use many new molds. I wonder how many Cyberverse molds we'll see again. Hopefully none.

I REALLY hope that if this show gets cancelled they don't phone their final season in like they did with Earthspark. I am very disappointed with how season 2 reversed all of Starscream's character development and removed all the nuance from the decepticons.

2:58 It's the very first time since Beast Machines that we had this happen in Transformers.....the first time that any Transformers series wasn't good enough to continue for a third part, and that's quite unfortunate. Earthspark was off to a good start, yet jumped the Sharkticon by season 2!!

I want them to use phrases for the names of the shows, like "Transformers: Robots in Disguise" or "Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye". Im pretty sure there are some good phrases they could use for a title... "Transformers: Well That's Just Prime" "Transformers: I Cant Deal With That Now" "Transformers:Me Grimlock Say Execute Them"

Mirage being a major player excites me because it confirms my belief that Hasbro now considers him an A-level character following ROTB. Will he be the main character? Will he be the kid-appeal character? I don't know, but I'm REALLY hoping for the latter. Dinobots being major players again is exciting. Snarl's always been kind of the nothing Dinobot, so I'm glad to see him as a major player this early on. Off-Road Optimus Prime? If he's anything like Battle Changer Optimus, he's going to be a win. Unimog Optimus SWEEP~ No idea what "Meg Bull" is going to be. I don't think he's going to be Megatron since JTPrime said Megatron, Starscream and Soundwave weren't in the first wave, so he's probably an original bad guy surrounded by heavy hitters in order to help him sell better. Speaking of which... The Decepticon roster so far looks immaculate and is brimming with potential. Galvatron could draw from his IDW version and be an ancient warlord, Scorponok seems like he might be an actual character and not just a goon (PLEASE HASBRO DON'T MAKE HIM A GOON AGAIN; I'M BEGGING YOU; LET HIM BE GALVATRON'S STARSCREAM EQUIVALENT), and Sky-Byte's inclusion is always welcome. Regarding the actual show... I kinda like the idea of it being a Battleworld-type show with Galvatron summoning heroes and villains from across the universe to duke it out in order to further a potentially-Unicron-related agenda (maybe bring back Unicron feeding off of hate from Armada). It'd open up the depths of characters to pick from, it'd create unexpected team-ups, and it could have a rotating cast. Throw in our heroes realizing what's really going on and trying to throw Galvy's plans off course, and you'd have a really fun show.

Cyberworld feels like such an uninspired title like it's probably supposed to make you think Cybertron but to me it sounds like everyone is gonna get sent into a digital world.

Could it be that cyberworld is just a continuation of earthspark? Like rid was for prime?

We shall see what happens with Cyberworld. The last time we saw this happen, it was the the late 90's with Beast Machines. Though, in Cyber verse's defense, it did have a league and legacy of its own, one that exists in perpetuity. Why else would it get a nod in the Windblade of that series?

Pretty fun lineup. Here’s what I think some of the listings mean, to me at least… Offroad OP is definitely Optimus, and he’ll probably have an off-road alt mode in the show. Mirage I think will probably be based on his ROTB incarnation, with some elements of G1 and Dino (as in Dino from DOTM) incorporated into his design. and, I think Meg Bull is probably just a code name, and not actually the name of a character. Maybe it could be another pre-existing character, or a brand new one. Also, I hope Galvatron has his G1 Toy/Marvel colors, though he’ll probably have his G1 toon colors.

Maybe they decide that they over extended Bumblebee too much and decide to give him a break, for the fan favorite kid appeal character, Mirage.

The easy assumption is that Meg = Megatron but we don't actually know that. It could be like BW2 did with Galvatron and Megastorm. Megastorm or Gigastorm was never a bull in that series but maybe they're doing something different with him so he doesn't envoke Megatron so much. There's also Megaplex and Mega-Octane. I don't think they'd even have a Megatron if Galvatron is going to be in the listing this early unless they're doing something really different with Megatron and Galvatron in this series that they've never done before. Meg Bull could also be a new character that was made up just for CyberWorld.

"Cyberworld" is kinda giving me 'virtual world' vibes (think Code Lyoko or Real Adventures of Jonny Quest). Could all the potential Armour sidekicks be computer programs?

I genuinely think this is just going to be Season 3 of Earthspark, like how Prime eventually go "Beast Hunters" as an epithet. The listing for Galvatron, but no Megatron makes me think it's a "the world has gotten a lot of new cybertroninans/terrans, and we have a planet-wide attack from Galvatron, who might be a corrupted Megatron (and they will have to try to get him back), or he will be an idw style ancient warrior that Megatron has hard beef with

I wonder if they’ll lean hard into ROTB. Like, as an example, Mirage takes centre stage, and the bots are more jungle ready. It makes me think it’ll take place on a forest world (jungle planet comes to mind) or earth in a different time period than the modern era. The bots could be facing predacons, and I mean the proper ones from beast wars, so there could be G1 inspired Galvatron and then a separate, BW inspired Megs. Doesn’t really explain the bull thing, but he could be packaged with a bull or bulldozer. Just some ideas that come to mind after watching the video

I hadn’t thought about it, but you’re right. This feels very… safe. Immediately recognizable names, some more “exciting” alt modes…. Earthspark was great. It actually tried to tell a different story and introduce new elements.

I have a feeling this isn’t a cartoon, at least not yet. A leak for the entertainment roadmap for the next few years shows earthspark trickling episodes for the next couple of years and no mention of Cyberworld as far as a cartoon goes. This means I think it’s a toy line mainly, without an adjacent show, at least at the start.

I’m assuming this series could be inspired by RotB and also how UT was. Where you have familiar elements but characters are way different. Because it can’t be related directly to the live action films. Because Megs and Galvatron are movie level threats

I feel pretty mixed on Earthspark. Part of it feels like a very fresh stroy, that fleshes out Cybertronian culture and philosophy, and the show has some decent action. And the other half feels like a kids show for kids about kids, and i feel like season 2 really highlights this.

What we all really want and need is more RESCUE BOTS. Not so much from the academy spinoff, but the proper extended team! Heatwave. Chase. Boulder. Blades. Hightide. Blurr. Salvage. Quickshadow and why not even Servo!

The fact that both the Megatron and Optimus listings state their alt-modes makes me think they're going to change alt-modes over the course of the series.

I wasn’t a fan of Earthspark so getting a new series is good to hear I hope it turns out better.

Maybe this is a toy follow up to Transformers one. Something to fill in while we wait for the next series. These could be styled after the movie. Nonetheless I am interested.

Someone found a roadmap plan (not sure how legit) that shows some Earthspark Season 2 "specials" airing alongside Cyberworld. This has me wondering if Cyberworld could be a spin-off to Earthspark. My guess would be that the specials involve some of the characters get taken to Cybertron and we discover that Galvatron is in charge there ala Beast Machines; and it turns out he was one of the group of Protoforms Shockwave talked about. The Allspark made it through the bridge and landed, creating Galvatron and a new generation of Transformers. At the end of the special, most of the Earthpsark characters go back to Earth while others stay on Cybertron to fight against Galvatron who's got some plan that'll destroy the universe. It might not be that, but it would be cool if they continued the Earthspark story with that kind of set up.

Anytime they talk about a new Transformers series, I certainly get curious about it. EarthSpark was a cool series in my view even if it was targeted for kids a little more, I still enjoyed for what it was, I didn't collect the toys, but they just didn't appeal to me. Cyberworld, well, we will have to see in the not so far future how they will approach it, you never know, it could be more appealing than we think, too soon at this point, but it appears promising.

I wonder if this will have media attached to it or if it’s just like a filler line because earth spark didn’t perform well. They haven’t quite figured out what to do next

I feel like Transformers could stand to be way more experimental. The gimmicks of the Unicron trilogy didn’t always work great, but at least it was something different that allowed for different plot devices in the show too. I don’t think TF has been really experimental in a long time, maybe since the Bay movies started. Not to say the new shows have been bad, just always sticking to the same marketable characters and ideas. Glad to see some variety, especially as someone who prefers beasts

Why is it that we can’t have at least one Transformers series, that lasts for more than two or three seasons. even though no show runner, writer or no executive producer behind Earthspark, has came out about the show being cancelled, I’m pretty sure we’re all confident that with the reveal of Cyberworld has pretty much confirmed the cancellation Earthspark, and after the next batch of episodes of season 2 are released then that’s pretty much going to be it for the series. On one hand I am kind of bummed that Earthspark is getting cancelled, as at least for season 1, I quite enjoyed the series, and I liked how it tried to stand out every other transformers show before it, like making Megatron a good guy, not mentioning either The Allspark or Unicron and especially, fleshing out both the Autobots and The Decepticons, I loved how they showed that Decepticons like Starscream, Breakdown and Tarantulas didn’t want to be evil anymore, but at the same time they also didn’t want to join The Autobots. But on the other hand it their was Season 2 which definitely a huge downgrade compared to season 1, both writing wise and animation wise. The fact that they completely ditched the development of Starscream and rest of The Decepticons, just so they could be evil again. The animation also took abit of a downgrade as well, i’ll admit that the animation for Season 1 wasn’t perfect either, as half of the time it looked like Motion Capture was involved, but it still had it’s moments where it could look very good, especially with action scenes. But with Season 2, you could tell that the animation felt abit rushed, maybe not as bad as say, Energon or The Prime Wars Trilogy, but. Which sucks because I heard that the same company that did the animation for season 2 of Earthspark, also did the animation for the 2012 TMNT series.

I'd love to know what was it about Earthspark that gave Hasbro such cold feet so quickly, really seemed like they were itching to kill it almost right away. It sucks because I adored season 1, not hearing great stuff about season 2 but damn they really gave this show no chances.

Pity it looks like Earthspark is been replaced, not my favourite series but still good. It would be nice if this Meg Bull does Transform into a Bulldozer, that means we'll get 2 figures with that alt mode next year along with SS-86 Bonecrusher. Last figures we got with a bulldozer for an alt mode were SS Rampage and Skipjack.

with the character listings could this have a bit of RID 2001 dna in it with a predicon verses autobot theme? and used Galvaton because they're still unsure what they're doing movie story wise with Megs, if this does indeed have any ties into live action lore like prime did that is.

What if this is a continuation of Earthspark just because some of the picks feel weird. Also a squeal would be thought of during the first season. (In the end probably very unlikely)

It's pretty wild that it seems they aren't tying in an animated series for the first actual theatrical animated TF movie since G1 that everyone seems to love! I'm still willing to check it out, but I don't feel like there's a lot of confidence in the tone and artistic voice. I think Hasbro is going to have to learn that completely rebooting the primary fiction every 3 years just doesn't work long term. That's basically the Power Rangers pattern, and look where that franchise is. Pick a lane, stick to it, and give the creators some freedom.

There's about a 5% chance it is but the first thing that came to mind for me when I saw the title was Battleworld from Marvel's Secret Wars, some big crossover of different parts of the Transformers multiverse. Like I said, it's unlikely, and honestly at this point the Multiverse has been so overused and mishandled by Hollywood that odds are it wouldn't be well received, but that's where my mind went.

Im thinking its 20th anniversary for cyberton. Going back to the cyber planets and...if im right they've been peppering in cyber planet characters already for easy refresh.

"CyberWorld," huh? Are the Transformers Digimon? Or just a nothing name like "Prime" was? Anyway, I hope it gets a better release for the episodes. While I don't like EarthSpark for changing too much of the stats quo & its dedication to declawing literally everything that could be an actual threat. But what actually killed the show (in my eyes) was how the show was put out. Seriously, why release the episodes in batches at a time!? Release one or two a week!!! Doing it this way is just demonising returns! Less & less would bother keeping up, I did as it got annoying, and that's not even mentioning how they also delayed the release in different countries. WHY?!?!?! The movie got released at the same time across the world. Why not the TV show!?!?

Man the Earthspark toys had horrible distribution. Took more than a FULL YEAR to see Wave 2 after Wave 1 showed up! That sucked. I got Wave 1 early 2023 and I got Nightshade like ...1 or 2 months ago!

What if they just rename the series like Beast Wars -> Beast Machines?

Assuming Armor Galvatron is what I think it is, we could be looking at something akin to a Dr.Jekyll/Mr.Hyde situation. Doublely so if Meg-Bull is Megatron instead of some weird pull like Mega-Octane or Megastorm.

If we're going back to a Cyberverse-esque show without human characters, I'm out. I intentionally skipped Cyberverse because I didn't like the stuff it went for, and having only seen brief snippits of it through Chris McFeely's Basics videos, I'm gladd I did. So if we're losing Earthspark in favor of something similar to Cyberverse, I think it's going to be a dark day for Transformers tv shows, honestly...

The EarthSpark deluxe is are the ones not doing that great in my local stores. Which, is a good thing for me because I’m trying to build that Mandroid figure from the first year of the line, and they still have season one stuff with the occasional season two cyber combiner set mixed in.

Unsure why companies still have faith in Nickelodeon, it is where established brands go to die. We have now seen it happen to : Winx Club, Power Rangers, and now Transformers. They are more interested in their bread and butter originals than trying to keep these established brands afloat. I wish companies would learn from each other at this point. I mean hell, anyone remember Legend of Korra? And that was a sequel to a NICKELODEON EXCLUSIVE.

NEMESIS said that Transformers Earthspark should have the final 20 batch of episodes later this year, so Earthspark isn’t cancelled just yet.

I doubt it was just sales, the controversy around non binary kids and discussion in children’s programming got a lot of traction. All that aside, the toon didn’t really catch my attention, nor the toys. I never got to see cyberverse, but I did pick up Cheetos and Hammeretrike.

I hope Cyberworld is good, show or not (though knowing transformers, there will be one) and is more akin to a mix of legacy and earthquake figure quality

Earthspark could have been peak if the focus was Optimus and his people. 1) war is over 2) Megatron is pals with Optimus again. 3) Elita ain't dead for a change. Legit the best bloody timeline cyber Jesus has got so far. But they had to make the focus the new characters which were... lackluster. Not to mention Nightshade was pandering, the bot could have been peak "representation" if you left all buzzwords and idiotlogy out. Why not make a cybertronian with a bot mode thats male, the alt-mode a clearly female animal(or vice-versa)? Instead they just made a bot that looks male in both modes and slapped some nouns(which makes no sense for a bot to dig into because that garbo is closely tied to human experience and ideology). As someone with actual DeeS-phoree-a it was a slap in the face, just as much as the whole ideology that is rooted in PDFlies justifying what they did.

I think the idea that kids need human characters to see themselves in is wrong. There are many children's shows that don't have human children at all. Just have characters that are obviously meant to be children, they will see themselves in those characters.

There was no way for South African audiences to see Earthspark without 'riding the high seas' which I wont do. So BAD marks against it there. NO attachment, it can go. Hopefully the new group gets international television/streaming distribution correct, or that can go too for all I care.

Cyberworld is a dumb name, but I did not like EarthSpark at all. So, I hope whatever replaces it is so much better. I'm not expecting something on the level of Animated, Beast Wars, and Cyberverse, but it could be good. Still, we know practically nothing.
