I love that Optimus prime is an intergalactic war hero from another planet, but when Buzz Aldrin introduces himself Optimus is super respectful to him. He doesn’t need to be, but that’s just how Prime is.
Might feel kinda like seeing history. Optimus comes from a world that long ago mastered Spaceflight, so meeting one of its pioneers would be awe-inspiring even to him (possibly especially to him, with how much he values human experience and life).
“What is this the silent treatment” “We’ve seen that and it’s not that” This implies that Optimus has been petty enough in the past to give them the silent treatment 😂 now I wonder what they did to annoy him to that extent
Probably some shenanigans by some of the younger Autobots, which earned them about five minutes worth of hard stares and silence. I can just see the Twins and/or Bumblebee shuffling their feet as Optimus just glowers at them.

I love how Optimus briefly forgets his anger and greets Buzz with the same respect and kindness Buzz was showing him, that’s why Optimus is and always will be my favorite.

they only bitch about Plot when these movies aren't about the Plot they aren't plot driven movies its about the effects and characters nothing more and im fine with that these movies are allowed to dismiss plot.
I’ll give the Bayverse credit. They managed to tie the events of Transformers to major historical events in the most asinine ways, but the moments like these almost make it worth it. Having actual Buzz Aldrin in the movie is easily one of my favorite parts of this franchise
Sentinel knew his ass would get handed down to him if he fought Ironhide head on, so It had to take a Prime with a rust gun to kill Ironhide behind his back. Ironhide is that badass. He's no bitch like Sentinel or Megatron
2:37 Buzz Aldrin himself stepping into the movie was just too awesome, and him and Optimus showing respect to each other was perhaps one of the best moments of the whole movie.
I love how when Optimus starts talking everybody else shuts up and listens, like they just know he's going to say something important or inspirational. The last shot of Lennox kinda proves that. You can just tell he's used to just giving Optimus his full attention once Prime starts talking because he knows it'll be worth hearing.
Oh if only Jazz was revived... He would've marked so many great events, but without him, some parts of the movie seemed barren, such as Ironhide's death.
Jazz was ripped in half by Megatron i'm pretty sure the Matrix couldn't revive him unless Ratchet is very good at repairing dead comrades with all their parts.

haha right? but i don't know this or not but ironhide is one of Optimus oldest friends and comrades, they fought together on cybertron to try to stop the decepticons from taking over but, in their massive war, it destroyed cybertron

"The honor is mine." The fact that Optimus is so much more advanced and can travel across multiple star systems, while mankind barely can escape Earth's orbit, just makes that line so much more impactful.

I love how Ironhide gets away with bumping Prime's hood like that. He's that respected among the autobot ranks. Hell, Optimus doesn't even seem mad at all at Ironhide for that. I dunno, I feel like this scene is a good showcase of both Optimus and Ironhide's personalities, or as good of a showcase as you're gonna get in these films.

What I love is the way that they managed to convey Optimus' mood through his transformation. Iron Hide could have said nothing, and you'd be able to tell Optimus was upset. The way he lurches his grill out, steam spewing out of his smokestacks and grill as he transforms rushed and quickly, and sort of janky in a way. That is true talent to match the mood to something that doesn't need to show emotion
It's sad to see all those Autobots in NASA, Ironhide, Wheeljack, Mirage, and Ratchet who were in this scene perish in the end, until only Optimus and Bumblebee were left.
I just love how ironhide is annoyed with Optimus, but still gently knocks on his roof. and when hes mad, you can see the smoke coming out of his exhaust pipes and him thumping on the floor when he transforms. I would be scared if I was standing in front of him like that lol
Ironhide is my favourite Transformer of all time, the movies made me love him even more, i hate that Ironhide died the way he did but let's be real here, Sentinel only did that because he didn't want to face off against Ironhide so shooting him in the back was his best option to get rid of him. This scene makes it clear how much of a boss Ironhide actually is, imagine what he'd do to Sentinel Prime if he wasn't killed, he would gladly take on Sentinel Prime in a fight to the death, Ironhide might not win that fight but Sentinel would not get away unscathed, imagine if Sentinel killed Bumblebee or Sideswipe instead of him, Ironhide would want to go absolutely ham on Sentinel, if Ironhide was alive during the rest of Dark Of The Moon, he and the Autobots would've won a lot easier, he'd probably stay with Optimus during his fight with Sentinel and together they would've taken him out easily, Megatron wouldn't have to show up to shoot Sentinel in the back if Ironhide was there. Ironhide is one of those few Autobots other than Optimus that can scare the Decepticons even at the mention of his name.
Which is presically why Sentinel is nothing more than a worthless, pathetic, scumbag. Never deserving the right whatsoever on being called a Prime. Because of his acts of treason and cowardice willing to betray everyone just simply for the “survival” of their race when all he was doing was just simply taking the easy and cowardly way out to make sure no one could stop him from putting all of these atrocities into action. Not even his greatest and most prized student Optimus Prime himself.
This is one of my favorite optimus prime transformations because there's not much cinematically, you can just see where everything slips off to in his robot mode. You can see the trailer hitch sneak under him, his hood collapse into his chest, his exhaust go from the truck to his back, flawless. Only thing I wanna know is where do his seats go?
***** Your probably right, but I can't help but fantasise that after the Battle of Chicago, Cemetery Wind started their organisation and upon starting their assassinating of the autobots, NEST soldiers try to stick their necks out for them. But Savoy pissed and thinking that they're 'betraying their flesh and blood for alien metal' had them out of the picture.

Lennox is in The Last Knight, but I can't help but agree that there is a potential that the others you listed were killed by Cemetery Wind....The idiots probably even killed Mojo just because he was a pet of Sam's, and Sam was likely deemed a traitor by them, due to his actions in protecting the Autobots, just to get even more revenge! The greatest scene with Cade in my eyes was him pushing Savoy out that window, because *who* knows how many humans the guy killed just because they helped the transformers!
Is it just me or is every government official all about secrets and not really trusting the Autobots, I mean first Galloway with his big mouth and his dislike for the Autobots now this woman. Seriously
