Something that I noticed looking at the cover picture, they made Megatron so much bulkier than his original design, really adds to his brutality factor

platinum must have learned a thing or 2 after making MGRR,they really made TF:D have some music that’s very similar to MGRR with almost all being metal songs

Completed this game like a month ago. It was actually a really fun fast paced hack n slash. I did not expect it to be as fun as it was. It also featured some kick ass music and this track was my fav. I always got insane combos off whenever this song came on.
What do you expect? It's a platinum games product. Granted, from the B-team who cranked out less than stellar fighters. But this? Devastation? Sure, ain't as polished of combat as major PG titles. But the whole devotion to Transformers, the music, the visuals.. Heck pretty much everything about the game just made it so good and nostalgic. Pity we'll never get a sequel..
I would Say this iteration of Megatron is a good villain because he's not entirely based on G1 Buckethead. G1 he just was evil for the sake of it pretty much, but in this, they definitely play more to the fact that Megatron is a true Patriot for Cybertron through and through to the point where he would forsake another species just to bring back Cybertron, and I love villains with that kind of depth.
@@TheSMBZfan1 Most Megatron's are willing to bring Cybertron back by killing other species. G1 Megatron did try to bring Cybertron back by destroying earth and he somewhat did. After that though he just went to regular evil.

Just got back from beating the campaign on Magnus difficulty and boy was it a journey and boy have I heard this song in my head many times during the final fight…..
@@super-dumb-youtuber prime difficulty was easier, since Prime Difficulty is basically the same, just enemies are slightly more faster and all the other bullshit they throw at you. And because I unlocked *cough* SS Rank Devestator Drills from doing Chapter 1 of Prime Difficulty.
@@yoda.cat11111 there is a jump between Commander and Magnus. It’s even noticeable in the first mission, so training by replaying those lower difficulties won’t help, but it does atleast improve your overall combat since on Magnus and Prime difficulty, their damage is just brutal and getting hit twice will likely down you.
The only problem I have with Megatron in this game (besides him kicking my ass on Magnus & Prime difficulty) is the fact that we never got to hear the Decepticon version of "Autobots, roll out!" the Decepticon version being: "Decepticons, transform and rise up!

Oh my god. When you fight this guy, He will destroy you. Like seriously that Buckethead can make lava geysers and a black-holes, like c,mon man that's unnecessary!!!....But Awesome!!!
Well hope some SFM animator has the courage to do 16 Episodes (Season 1) or push it further and do Season 2 too (49 episodes) since these guys are actually ported in SFM, however it would be hard not just cause it would take forever, but devastation doesn’t have everyone, even missing guys from Season 1 such as - Reflector - Hauler - Grapple - Hound - Ironhide - Brawn - Prowl - Bluestreak - Windcharger - Rachet - Trailbreaker - Gears - Cliffjumper Yeah, you get the point….
To describe what I feelt as I faced down Megatron, with this rocking in the background in one word... It would have to be... Orgasmic! The best Transformers game to date!
There are so many things wrong with this picture. Optimus looks like he just slipped on a banana peel from Mario Kart and both Megatron and Bumblebee have both turned into Stormtroopers. *WHAT IS THIS MADNESS?* Amazing music though, lol.
The soundtrack of Transformers Devastation goes really hard because this game is developed by PlatinumGames, the same devs that made games like Bayonetta, Vanquish, Lolli Pop Chainsaw, NieR Automata, Astral Chain, Star Fox Zero, The Legend of Korra Game, TMNT Mutants in Manhattan, and of course Metal Gear Rising Revengeance.
If megatron used these powers all the time. Than boy starscream would have literally no chance in hell of overthrowing and killing megatron (without the underbase power up anyway)
