Transformers Earthrise Grapple (Random Review) 

Please, let this be redecoed into Hauler. *_PLEASE._*

I think the old Inferno/Grapple mold is a great Firetruck robot toy... but they just didn't portray Inferno and Grapple accurately. While it wasn't accurate for Hot Spot either, the GDO repaint was amazing, and likely the only version of the mold I'll keep now that we have these nice character-faithful Earthrise ones happening.

Much of the first wave of Earthrise seems to be composed of figures that they clearly intend to repaint/retool to make other figures. Yes, Grapple will likely be retooled into Inferno, and perhaps the two versions repainted as Hauler and Artfire respectively. But Hoist will likely be retooled into Trailbreaker, Cliffjumper into Bumblebee or Hubcap, and Starscream into any number of Seekers. And it's possible Wheeljeck will be the basis of the rumored Sunstreaker. Hasbro clearly put a lot of thought into this for both Earthrise and Selects, and I'm actually pretty happy about that. Grapple is a nice toy and a character I'm fond of. I always had a thing somewhat nerdy characters.(I can't imagine why ;-).) The RTS Inferno mold Solar Storm Grappel was made from always seemed a little too big and chunky to me as well, even though, along with GDO Hot Spot, I own three versions of it. This seems like a good replacement.

Well, since he IS built as a heavy, tough bot, you could always use those blast effects to make him look like he's doing the toku 'wading through enemy attacks without even noticing' pose.

The C-clip on the claw hand is to connect to the new ramps. It connects to the two little pegs on the connector.

here's hoping Selects gives us a Hauler, Artfire, and Mudflap

Nice review but I think something's wrong with the color settings of your camera. His color looks like a pretty dull orange. And I'd like to see accessory storage in alt mode, too. 10:14 The "c-clip" is compatible with the platform/ramp connectors. You can even see it on the back of his packaging ;)

Remember when you complained Ironworks doesn't have a rotor? Grapple's Grapple hand is supposed to be used as a rotor for Ironworks.

Grapple doesn't do much for me, but this looks like a solid figure. I'll definitely pick up the Inferno remold.

I guess the color correction led the video to being more dark than usual?

Are those lights on his roof suppose to be there? Seems like those would be the sirens for Inferno and I have no idea why they're on a crane.

Tf logic Grapple: larger then optimus in vehicle mode, way shorter in robot mode...... Optimus: only slight taller then car bots in robot mode but then at tall as a car bot in vehicle mode.... Bruh
