It's understandable, Unicron is a literal dark god, a force of nature of unending hunger and destruction who views himself as the ultimate entity in creation and he is recorded to be cybertrons ancient and first enemy before the quintesons, before the Fallen himself. Not to mention Unicron is speaking to Starscream from another timeline a completely parallel reality from his own, that is terrifying to think about.
This version of Starscream became one of my favorites after this: he went from a mostly generic backstabber to a hero who wanted to save his home, even if it meant allying with his enemies
Imagine this from starscream perspective, he gets a disc that shows megatron, his rival encounter basically transformers satan, gets his body erased and tormented forever. Starscream gloats a bit then IMMEDIATELY transformers satan calls his name, that's like finding a flash drive of someone encountering the devil then after you view it the devil contacts you too by calling your name....
What’s even worse is that unicron is basically a dark god that is half of the one. Making him the evil equivalent of god in his duality with primus. In Sumerian religion there were two rivaling brother gods called Enki and enlil. Enlil was the evil god. Well guess what sumerians wrote the original garden of eden and flood story. In that enlil wanted to wipe out humans after using them as slaves but Enki like the serpent gave man knowledge. Then enlil wanted to use the flood to punish and wipe out mankind and Enki warned a man to build a boat. The biblical god really just merges enki and enlil to one guy. So in a sense unicron is god abducting lucifer and making him into a slave, the gnostics beleived god was evil due to the old testament creulty which made no sense. So they figured there was two gods and that biblical god was evil and not the real father of Jesus. Which was the hidden good god much like Enki and primus. They called him yaldabaoth the Demi urge. Ironically the creator in transformers myth who made primus and unicron was called the one. The god above the demiurge was the one. Demiurge was only the god of the material world but not the spiritual god. Much like how bible says Satan is the god of the earth.
History Channel says fallen angels people from Nibiru crossed their dna with humans to create slave race cro magnon man. Original elohim created gen 1 melanin man to RULE earth and REpopulate the planet. Adam was originally formed on higher realm frequency and placed on 4D earth also to rule. Sataniel already existed and Lucifer completed his fall by objecting to serving Adam. We were created to show GOD'S love and our existence is a slap in face of their accusations of GOD being a tyrant

I love how Unicron is treated like an Eldritch entity in this series. Like, you can barely comprehend his actual form, so he chooses to take the form of a giant robotic planet.
I'm really glad they went for something else for Starscream other than him seemingly killing Megatron, and becoming leader only for Megatron to come back and kill him.
I am fairly certain Starscream no longer cares about power from this point on. He just cares about Unicron being as FAR from him as physically possible.
Unicron didn't reprogram Megatron. He didn't intentionally make him crazy. He just broke his pride; he showed him once and for all that there IS a will in this life that is stronger than his. That he CAN be made into a lowly slave again. And that broke him.
When you finally realize just how small you are in the grand scheme of things and realize that the thing that takes up a good portion of it wants to kill you
Which is the strange thing.. what ever he Said to starscream scared him so bad it caused him to do a 180 and try to stop the war.. now with Autobots and Decepticons united will that make things harder for unicron or is something going to happen down the line to change things
I think one of the things that terrified Starscream is not just what Unicron told him, but what he showed him too. Afterall, when Megatron becomes Galvatron, one of the first things Galvatron does is destroy Starscream. Starscream's death is tied to Megatron's conversion to Galvatron, it scares him to know that everything, every choice, was by the design of another. And despite wanting to usurp Megatron and take the Decepticons for himself, doing so would guarantee Galvatron's rise and Starscream's death. He is not strong enough to stop it this fate, so he does what he thought he would never do, seek help from the autobots.
You know now that I think about it, whenever Starscream interacts with Unicron in any conceivable way he usually tends to go from a backstabbing power grabber to the hero who gets everyone’s shit together to defeat the common threat. It happened in Armada with Starscream fighting Megatron to prove Unicron was an actual threat, it happens again in this one where he tries to warn everyone. Not a bad characterization at all.
why would he unicron has no use for starscream plus if you think about the g1 starscream and unicron thought he played unicron by getting his body back to shat at by galvatron and the others it was a bit funny seeing just spiral out of control in space while being shot at and if unicron is all knowing then he knows about alternitve timelins and realitys meaning he must have saw starscream in another reality try and play him
@@brianthegamingfox789 I noted that Unicron always sees Megatron as a potential slave. We've seen this in G1, WFC, Prime and even in the unicron trilogy he and Megatron get linked together to an extend. Starscream meanwhile constantly gets into unicron's way, WfC, G1, IDW, Unicron trilogy. For someone like Unicron, you either are his herald and slave or you are a meddlesome scrap that must be permanently destroyed. Megatron is potentially the former, Starscream is consistently the later.
This take on Megatron’s reformat was nicely scary but needed a torture scene however I get why they didn’t. It’s from the outward perspective of the reformat.
I like how Blackarachina and Starscream had an alliance here too but most importantly how he put his ego aside after learning the truth and threat about Unicorn
@@gandalflotr2898 the WFC (show) Optimus ain’t Shattered Glass Optimus. One of the only SG!Optimus’s we know about was rebuilt as that universes Nova Prime.
I just realized that the recording at the start was Megatron talking about him killing Prime (in the timeline where the Maximals came from), but he never found the Allspark and regretted it, until Unicron summons him and turns him and Optimus' corpse to Galvatron and Nemesis Prime.
Id have a nervous break down too if after viewing my leader future enslavement to their culture devil god. Then for said devil god to call out to me from the future/alternate dimension after i was gloating about it. And what shows the true impending horror isnt the fact starscream nearly went mad from panic/terror. It was that he immediately forgot about his plans for leadership and glory so he can try to stop unicron
Starscream that urges megatron to work with the Autobots is almost the same when Starscream from Armada with exception in the Armada all he wants was respect and gratitude for his efforts from Megatron/Galvatron.
I kinda wish the most we saw of Unicron so far was his planet mouth thing, would show more to just how huge he really is compared to other transformers and It'd lend more to the almost Cthulhu vibe they seem to be going for
I see where your going, but we have already seen Unicron form 1980 movie. 2: his first introduction in the movie was planet devour a whole planet like it was Tuesday. 3: the real surprise was him transforming into a humanoid from, which was the true shocker, even for Gavltorn. It still give that horror experience more despite knowing his appearance than just hiding the shadow.
Blackarachnia was so ready to deliver a verbal beatdown to Starscream about what an incompetent fool he is......just at the moment Starscream proved he's NOT a dense idiot. Talk about bad timing.
from what I gathered in that timeline of THAT specific transformation megatron was likely the last remaining cybertronian (with it being him and prime before that). EXCEPTION: The beast wars transformers (as they seemingly came from THAT timeline).
And thus Unicron's ideas begin. Right there. I mean, why would he simply let Starscream go? I think Starscream is a pawn of Unicron. Only question is if he is aware of it or not.
Question is, where is that infernal spawn of Unicron, Tarantulas? I get why the Tripredicus Council didn't show up, but come on, how can you have a story about Unicron's machinations and not include Tarantulas when most of the Beast Wars participants (minus the fuzors and Inferno) showed up.
It's really ambiguous. For all accounts Unicron can provide Starscream a deal similar to Galvatron for power, heck, Megatron in some incarnations tries to get Unicron's power whereas Starscream rarely wants anything to do with. There's either an idealistic or cynic explanation. Idealist: Starscream, funnily enough, is not as cause obsessed as Megatron, Soundwave and Shockwave. This allows him to see beyond the typical faction war. He's an egotistical upstart but it allows to see opportunities and realities the rest of the warriors miss. Cynical: Unicron is like a satan looking for slaves. Unicron technically speaking spins around Megatron's philosophy: peace through tyranny. Starscream however, while at worst still fairly pragmatic, is something who would despise the idea of being under somebody else's thumb (I mean, if he wasn't sick of that, he wouldn't run into hot waters with Megatron to begin with). Even if Unicron keeps his deal, he probably wouldn't take kindly to the prospect of being a puppet ruler.
@@clownplayer7265That is true he would be a Double edged sword but if THIS Unicron can see different timelines then it would have been smart to NOT TALK TO STARSCREAM cause he sometimes gets the autobots and decepticons to work to stop him or he himself stops Unicron
This is by far my favorite depiction of Unicron, he just seems so much more eldritch and demonic then I've seen before in the franchise and it works so well. Perfect voice acting.
1:44 Looks like Starscream has definitely take another way now *You want to know the future? Fine. I have heard the legends of Air Commander Starscream. I heard you were a coward! An arrogant, backstabbing, incompetent coward. You will never rule. You will never.*
In many lines Starscream ends trying to fightback Unicron or even betrays him: In G1 Starscreams abandons Unicron just after the last gave him a new body. In Armada, he tries to warn Megatron about the menace Unicron represents and to league with the Autobots. In IDW, Starscream sacrifices himself willingly to activate a talisman to open a way and destroy Unicron. I don't know what Unicron said or even offered to Starcream in this scene, but it's clear he didn't accept and once again is plotting against Unicron's will. There is a reason Starscream has an immortal spark, to be so persistent, propouseless, chaotic and out of line. Starscreams is variable, "The Variable" that Unicron can't control.
One of if not my favorite scene from this trilogy My only problem with it, which most transformers series will do, is just how small they make Unicron seem. Like, he’s supposed to be the size of at least equal to cybertron right? In this he looks no bigger than the giant space bridge from the 2nd part of the trilogy
essentially, transformers satan/cthulhu just spoke directly to him after he watched his boss/rival get enslaved by said transformers satan/cthulhu, i think thatd freak anyone out
