@@christianparrish6647 I had never heard of them until I saw the movie and I became a hardcore fan for life that day, I was 5 years old when I saw it. I have almost every game for them, I was missing the Autobot versions for the DS games, I was a Decepticon fan at heart lol.
revenge of the fallen devastator is still to this day the biggest CGI project in film history. Rendering every single piece individually was such a huge task that it literally blew up their computers.
It’s amazing how you can tell the feel of each transformation. Decepticons are jagged and sharp moving, autobots are smooth and elegant. But when prime is pissed off in DOTM he transforms very quick and edged, but when he is somber he transforms slowly and smoothly.
3:34 I don't have words to express how Optimus transformation and Arrival to Earth can match this good 😍 4:06 Starscream transformation speed is insane 😱
to be fair, all of them can transform either fast or slow, it depends on how they want it to be like barricade who can literally transform in less than 4 seconds
I think the more someone transforms the faster they get, want proof? When Optimus scanned his vehicle his first transformation was slow but as you look through rotf and dotm his transformations get faster. Also small vehicles like barricade probably have less parts to move around so it would be easy to transform.
Transformers is something I hold very close to my heart because it was a massive part of my childhood. Playing with those is something I miss a ton from when I was younger
Same bro. Linkin park my favorite band and chevy camaro my dream car. I found them both because transformers. This movie has special place in my heart.
>Actually cool, unique intro that isn't annoying loud dubstep >Includes every transformation, even minor ones in the background >Excellent music editing that gives a fresh feel to the familiar transformations This might just be the best compilation of the bayformers transformations on youtube. Subbed.
Excellent music editing my ass if this is excellent you got low standards he literally just slapped the theme over the clips loud as fuck so you cant hear the movie
I'm 45 years old. You just pulled the excited 10 year old boy out of me with that video! The transforming sequences from these films just doesn't get old. I still get goosebumps from watching them!
@@ahjkingsalton7428 the original transformers toy line started all the way back in 1984, even though the first live-action film was out in 2007. He might have been one of those that are already familiar with the franchise and was very much excited when it finally received a live-action film.
1:34 growing up with the cartoon and the toys, I just sat there and smiled during that first transformation, knowing this movie is going to be f***ing awesome.
Good morning I am looking for a few days to go to t T Toy 🤣🤣🤣😅😂😊🤣🤣🤣 z a few weeks and s Z my M my M x a long way in response the X factor USA and Canada
Hell yeah bro, imagine growing up watching the series and once the movie finally came after neat advertisements just to see OP make an introduction, the theater wilded out
2007-2011: When Transformers was great, Linkin Park rocked and Chester Bennington was alive. It seems like it was a century ago, and this makes me feel very sad.
NastyGuy92 I'd include up to 2017 too. AOE was really great IMO, and we got a fantastic LP album that year. TLK was a mess but at least Chester was still alive and OML is a great album too
No matter how crappy the later movies may have been, it'll never change the fact that ILM made animation *masterclasses* with every installment. Color grading, lighting, shading, reflections, environmental mapping... all of it. The animation in every Transformers film is just SSS-tier. Great compilation. 🔥
One thing I respect about this franchise is that Bay didn't take the easy route and do every in CGi /green screen but combined practical effects and onset locations with CG
Well, technically they were, but they used a different technique of cgi, much like how in iron man 1 his suits looked so real, they use proper scene colours that take days to get and are able to get those amazing shadows and reflections. I swear newer cgi looks like crap. I like iron man 1 compared to the new ones in terms of cgi, and same goes for the transformers movies
@@Niemelan1106 I'm sorry but you are wrong. It's all about time and money. On the first films they had more time to make everything as perfect as possible. New CGI is bad because most of the time it's rushed and artists don't have time to make it perfect.
Its hard to hold back nostalgia tears when Optimus transforms, speaks, or just being on the screen. Plus, Starscream fighting the F-22s in the first movie is probably one of my favorite scenes.
Ladies and Gentlemen, it's been 10 whole years since the first movie's release in 2007, And say what you will about Bay, but certainly in my opinion he has made some of the greatest Transformations our generation has ever seen. Even the sounds give them so much personality when they transform.
Sethsnake the sounds are much like the Generation 1 And the “personality” you talk about, is almost non existent in Bayformers Transformers Gen 1 Transformers IDW Comics Transformers Robots In Disguise (Comics) Transformers PRIME Beast Hunters Transformers Beats Wars Transformers Robots In Disguise (Anime) Transformers Armadda ANY of these shows/Comics would be way better than these shitty movies They have cool designs, not better designs, but cool designs that’s all I’ll say, the story is bad but it looks badass in fights and that’s all
Man, it just breaks my heart that these films are retconned. These films were and always will be my childhood. I will forever keep those first 3 movies close to my heart till the day i die.
Same. I don’t understand why they can’t just keep this universe and just change directors or get a co-director/different writers. The charm and spectacle these films add or not in the new ones and it’s leaves me empty and unsatisfied.
8:27 Optimus prime gets yeeeted in to the air and transformed like this: ching connnnnggf Dee dfcc aaaaaaaaaaaa bloooooob. #optimusprime. Haha :edit trying not to be mean to prime because he got hurt a lot a DOTM
Best 17 minutes and 18 seconds of my life. This is what I love about your video: 1. You put the transformations in order. 2. It looks to me that you have added ALL of the transformations! 3. I love how you put the music in, very creative! 4. That intro... I love it. I wish you and your channel the best of luck in the future!
And it's also one of the most confusing scenes in Transformers! Where did Optimus come from and why are they Where did Optimus appear from and why are they practically flying?
Who the hell made these transformations? They are incredible, the first movie was a while ago and yet the CGI is impeccable. This stuff must not be simple to do, I wonder how much planning and designing went into every single one of the transformations.
Only a name: Industrial Light & Magic (with Digital Domain for the first three movies), the digital effect house which creates the visual digital effects, for example, in Jurassic Park
I don't care how people hated the last 2 movies....I appreciate all the work and creativity that when into making these movies and this video proves it. Serious eye candy for any transformers fan.
I grew up watching Gen 1 but I do prefer these films to the original. Gen 1 was fun, but not the best when you consider that shows like Transformers Animated (where Lockdown got his big push) were far superior shows. Anyways, I always looked at the gun face this way: Part of being a good marksman is lining up your shots. If anything about you is off...shoulders, feet, waist, eye-to-sights, etc...it can negatively impact your accuracy. At close ranges, this isn't as big of a deal but at the distance Lockdown often shot at half a centimeter of "bad alignment" can make a huge difference. Putting a gun on the face means that all you have to do is be LOOKING at your target and everything is lined up for you. The only drawback to this is with humans, putting a high-caliber rifle on our faces might be hard to support with our physiology...especially the strain on our necks. But for a Cybertronian or giant robot in general where weapons are built right into their body, that problem can be easily remedied...it's as natural to them as a big toe is to us. A lot of folks seem to project too much human physics and whatnot on Transformers when it is made pretty clear their technology and understanding of the universe is far superior to ours...they already could use teleporters, use extremely sophisticated particle/energy weapons, etc.
9:52 getting tossed out from the car as it transforms into a robot that grabs you flips over something and then tosses you back inside it as it transforms back into a car now thats 10 out of 10
This is strangely emotional... Seeing all these characters we grew up with changing *no pun intended* overtime with that chill inducing "Arrival To Earth" in the background makes me feel like I'm 10 years old again...
The way you seamlessly edited in some of the best tracks from the scores along with the flawlessly stringed together (or very close to it) transformation clips, is truly extraordinary and badaft!!! props to you sir! You are amazing at editing!! 👍🏾 Definitely a subscriber now!
Anyone has the toys and tried to make the transformation as fast as the movie without breaking the toy xD I had my Megatron Plane 2:48 and i never could transform him that fast :(
I am literally having shivers watching this. This is basically my entire childhood in one video. And Steve Jablonsky's soundtracks only enhance the feeling tenfold.
It still boggles my mind how in the world did the VFX team create such detailed animations that feel genuinely believable ? Like, even if you slow it down you can see each individual part morphing and snapping into a place that makes total sense.
The mechanical transformations are the best. The cubes crap transformations were a real fail. My only complaint about the mechanical transformations is that they didn't keep the real proportion between the final robot size and the size of the vehicles they were transforming from. This made the transformations feel very fake and unbalanced, but other than that, these have been some of the most epic movies with some of the best visual effects ever made despite of all the bad critiques.
*Cough* You do remember that G1 Megatron transformed into a freaking Luger that was in the size of a regular blaster, yet is the same size as prime in his robot form oh or how Soundwave and Blaster who transformed into Boom Boxes *cough* I think given the logic of the previous entries apply here.
Man, this is freakin awesome. Watching the way Optimus basically stretches during his first on-screen transformation, it really gave off the vibe that he is adjusting to his new form. Then the reveal that the legendary Blackbird was a transformer, and the first showing of the Combiners through Devastator. I also realised that their normal transformations can be altered to an extent, such as 3:05, you can see his foot get into position much faster than all the other pieces, Optimus prioritized his foot to help him slow down. Now THAT'S attention to detail.
I’ve always looked at the process of transforming for them was an actual physical process and exertion for them. Not as simple as pushing a button and everything acts on a set of programmed instructions. That’s why sometimes they transform slowly like us getting up out of a seat, and sometimes they’re faster like us jumping out of a seat in a hurry. In the same way we can do so right foot first, lean forward, push our hands against the seat or just get up however we want, they can choose how they transform. I’ve loved that about Bayformers, it makes them really feel like Autonomous Robotic ORGANISMS and not just big robots
911 whats your emergency My toilet just turned into a ballistic missile launcher :the next day 911 what your emergency My grandma is a giant battle mech
Its crazy how Rise of the Beasts is gonna come out soon with prime and bee getting knew transformations and look so excited for the next chapter of live action transformers
Every now and then, I would come and watch this just to relive the franchise. Every single detail of them transforming is a masterpiece. Fucking love it
