I assigned Siege Shrute (basically Fracas) to TR Scourge when I got him. Once I get the Studio Series Scourge I'm going to reassign my de facto Fracas to that guy instead, and maybe pick up a couple of those Takara Sharkticon/Sweep sets if I can find them for cheap and turn my TR Scourge into SS Scourge's goon

Love your reviews, you're like the only one who shows how to transform the figures and then show how to transform them back. I use a lot of your vids for tutorials because these instructions don't be shit...lol. Keep up the good work.

Now there's another home run! Scourge may not be perfect, but he looks really amazing this time, blows all other previous versions! It would be hard to make something better, perhaps a Masterpiece version, but until that comes out, the best Scourge we ever gotten! Awesome review, Paul!

My favorite evil space soap bar. Honestly I think the only difference between him and the sweeps was his manicure? I'm not sure to be honest. I'd have to go rewatch.

Scourge is slightly darker blue and bigger than the Sweeps i think. Tbh idk exactly either how to tell the Sweeps apart from Scourge depending on the artist but i do know im getting 3 more to have the Sweeps. In rebirth the Sweeps weren't seen just Cyclonus and Scourge. However the Sweeps can mass duplicate like the Insecticons used to do so Scourge can have an army of Sweeps to be the Armada of Galvatron and Cyclonus

Great review of SS86 Scourge! This figure is definitely the best mainline G1 Scourge that we have ever gotten.

Personally I don't mind at all that they seem to be essentially "combining" Earthrise, Kingdom, and SS '86 WRT the Movie figs. I rather love that they do seem to have a few Siege ports on the SS figs like the WFC figs

To me it seems more like a "safe bet" in case Kingdom fails to deliver. After all BW always was the small brother of G1. With a combined effort of SS86 and Kingdom, you get a rather large amount of G1 figures.

@@dgray3771 Personally I want as many modern BW figs to share shelf space with my G1 figs as possible. It really seems like both lines have the exact same customer base, which makes inter-line compatibility a logical idea. Hell, didn't they make Cyberverse and Siege compatible?

@@Canoby Compatible in what sense? Due to elements having 5mm pegs and pegholes? That is a common thing with all transformers for decades. As far as it seems to be the case, these new BW figures have certain compatibility in that sense too. With the fossilizers taking the place of figures like Ironworks. Which is fine. But there doesn't need to be compatibility for me. The BW figures are good enough for their own spotlight. But I do realize there are plenty of collectors that only collect G1.

Man Iam so glad I stuck with chug instead of masterpiece! I was considering masterpiece, but with some good stuff in the 30th anniversary, combiner wars, titans return, power of primes, siege , earthrise and kingdom Iam beyond happy! More characters and better on the wallet. They have been really knocking out of the park lately

It actually says on the back of the box that thundercracker got reformatted into scourge, in the little bio section!

I think you missed a step because I don’t remember but I think we have to flip the head gun around so the pointy part of the head is facing the back

I need 3 more Scourge figures to have as The Sweeps so i have Scourge and his Huntsmen the Sweeps to display with Cyclonus and the eventual kingdom Galvatron. But if i remember the Sweeps are slightly lighter blue and smaller than Scourge but they all look exactly alike as far as i can really see so either way wait for the repaints to become Sweeps or just buy 3 more Scourge figures and you get the Sweeps either way it's worth it as they're always together. The Sweeps can duplicate themselves into clones like the Insecticons so they're can be many of them to display with Scourge and Cyclonus til we get Galvatron. Nostalgia :)

That Titans Scourge was terrible I thought. The Generations one was great for it's time but the Titans is one of the few I passed on.

Thundercracker! Thundercracker became Scourge! In every frame after they get tossed out of Astrotrain, Thundercracker is seen with Skarpnal and Kickback. Literally every frame. Same with Skywarp and Bombshell.

The argument isn't who became Scourge. Everyone knows Thundercracker became Scourge. The argument comes when people use an animation error to justify why they think bombshell became Cyclonus. Which makes literally no sense

Great review, he looks nice, but i think i will stick with the Takara Legends Scourge. I think this is a good upgrade but not perfect with the back kibble. Plus i have a few of the Legends Scourges and Sharkticons with Sweep(s) heads, so i will just be happy with the stuff i got.
