5x8 foot trailer built on Harbor Freight 4x8 red trailer.
Budget DYI trailer built that finished under $2300.
Glue, paint, caulk cost around $500
Interior wainscoting paneling and pvc corner trim on exterior increased cost but made the trailer look great.
Interior black and white looks so nice.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks for watching

Pretty cool. I'm really curious about the foam panels. Are those just your regular foam panels that would be used for insulation? I can't believe they're strong enough for something like this.

Thanks, I am surprised how strong it is with the foam but it is super strong. I’ve taken it through ditches and driving on highway at 75 and there has been no flex or movement. I did use more 2x4s for support then most that make these.

Looks pretty good, where did you get the tires from? And did you have to upgrade to a longer axle to fit? I have seen alot of people saying they had to upgrade the axle to fit larger tires for better clearance

@@juliansolomon855 I purchased the tires and wheels as a package off of Amazon. I did not upgrade the axle, just got 3/4” wheel spacers. Thanks!

I'd get some bearing buddies and feel for heat on longer hauls. Nicely done

Do you think 2x2s would work instead of the 4x4s?

@@richarde6911 yea 2X2 construction works fine On another trailer build that’s what I used. Below is the link - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ULOfAhYM28w.htmlsi=lH5Dmd_C3BWTYJUc

Where did you get the pvc trim?

Menards, it’s in section with outdoor siding trim. It worked really good it’s just alittle expensive.
