I wasn't happy with my previous desk setup because I could only use my laptop and didn't have space for my PC. So I transformed it by getting a corner desk, moving my PC into my bedroom, creating a custom PC stand, mounting monitors and speakers to the wall, building a custom shelf, and adding more Govee lights! let me tell you, ive been debating getting a L desk from amazon or a basic ikea desk (which is way more expensive) and this video helped me decide that the L shape desk would be WAY better for me and can still look amazing. thank you for this great idea with all the lights and cable nets

Yea I was having the same mental debate, problem was I couldn’t find any ikea desks that fit the dimensions of my space that had the amount of depth I was working with. Glad I helped you decide! It was extremely tedious to cable manage though… but for the cost you can’t beat it. Just don’t mount too many things to the desk, or put too much weight on it. Personally I want to build a custom corner desk in the future when I save up enough. And no problem thanks for watching!

loll yea I was comparing the space I was working with to all these other peoples that have like 96 inch desks and couches in their room and stuff. I'm grateful for the space I have. Back in the day I used one of those portable leg folding tables as my desk. Gotta work with what you got, all the fancy stuff isn't necessary to get work done. And thank you bro I appreciate it!

I don’t, actually in engineering, which has helped getting familiar with editing software (I use Davinci Resolve 18) since I use a variety of engineering software. I did make videos for a while before this, Instagram, then tiktok, then my first RU-vid channel was called MJJ Auto and you can see the progression on that channel. A game changer for me has been creating a word doc and just writing. I spend the first week of the creation process writing, generating ideas for titles and thumbnails, and writing a script. Then I get all the footage, finalize the script based on the footage, record my voice over, edit to match the voice over, then add subtitles and clean everything up. This process takes me around 1 month rn while having a full time job

So what I do is shampoo once a week, conditioner every time I shower, dry angle in the shower, then out of the shower I pad down my hair (reduces frizz, don’t move the towel back and forth to dry), then once it’s damp (about 30 seconds later), I put in leave in conditioner, shea moisture strengthen and restore, and then sometimes I also put in a spray leave in conditioner. Once I make my discord we can talk about it more

very nice work on the video. but i can deffently tell you 1000% whats holding you back from great setup is the desk and conor placment (even your old setup looked nice, but still you finished that too too with loads of cheap items?)- like u spend 300/500$ on lights but rock a 90$ table that look very cheap, thats looks like it would collapes any minute? + room layout ?? and how your pc at the windows with that curten - foam blend setup (makeover the foam, looks bad, ic you like the foam, but that will never look reallly good and high quality) - maby switch the room layout , room is big- , easy fix,switch table , maby keep the tops but make new leggs that looks solid and redisign with all your Good item you have, reduce the clutter around the setup, redo the backdrop , it looks cheesy cause the rest is outa wack , looks cheap and cramped togetther and only looks nice when you zoom in for shots, sry but thats deffently the truth vs all the $$ you have in items (you have 1000$´s + in items, but you finish the look with 20$ foam pack - 90$ flimsy table - 30$ tile white pack - cramped into the conor of room with stuff all around it on both sides?? . ///// video good /// editing good - b roll good /// good sound /// good setup items - good taste in parts //// setup finish not so much:( //// very very lacking finish, some shot can look nice (only) zoomed in, but its not good for what ithink you want to do >> vs the effort you put into this video, im feel been very honest here (im not young, i might have higher standarts than teenagers watching thise videos) , i know you prob bought many of thise items over time, but ithnk you can do very much >>100% better

Thanks for such a thought out comment! I 100% agree bro, to be completely honest, I did cut some corners because I wanted to get a video out in 1 month. If I had a couple of months to save and plan, I definitely would have made a custom desk instead of buying the cheap one. And the foam and tiles id like to replace too with a custom backboard. I did enough to use the setup the way I want to (pc + MacBook). The things you pointed out are all things I plan on upgrading in the future, but first I need to plan. For the video I’ll be posting at the end of May, I’m going to be 3d rendering what I’d like to do with my basement setup. I want to learn different styles of rendering techniques and 3d design in blender. So consider sticking around to critique me more in the future, I appreciate your feedback!

I’m a full time systems engineer, have been for around a year and a half, so that funds these projects. The goal is for these projects to fund themselves from ad revenue/sponsors but that’s a long way off
