Rocks are very hard and solid, making it difficult for sounds to pass through as easily as they do with wood. However, using a contact microphone, we can still pick up subtle vibrations.
#fieldrecording is so much fun, and using different microphones allows you to get creative. With a bit of imagination and tools like #ableton Live and a reverb plugin from Native #instruments we transformed these sounds into something completely different, perfect for various audio projects.
