With all these Mods for Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind, Fallout 3, Fallout NW, Fallout 4, especially if you look at total conversion mods like Enderal, Nehrim, The Forgotten City, Fallout Miami, it was basically always the case with their games. xD You play the games usually once or twice in og and after that, you install or wait for mods like these. :D
“Mom, can we have a different comment from the last dark souls video?” “We have a different comment at home” “Mom, this format doesn’t make sense, this is the same exact comment as the other one”
I didn't like it at first but when I was on the nexus forums they kept mentioning it and I gave it a try and holy hell it was a mind-blowing mod it was the best quest mod for me and I will replay it again
@@then35t18 Refined some stuff, added a few more options in the quests like in the one with the "witches", dont have a full list but you'll probs find it in some changelog out there
Now this is what I’ve been waiting on. A transforming into Dark Souls Remastered video. Idk how you do it, Burns but each video just keeps getting better and better. Truly outstanding my friend!
Fun fact, VIGILANT and UNSLAAD were made by the same mod author, Vicn. I've only played through vigilant, but I've done it three times, and have found more to gain from it from each playthrough. Highly recommended.
Vigilant, Unslaad, and Glenmoril, one of the best quests mods for Skyrim, mixing Fromsoft games with Skyrim lore. Love the guy, though he does do some strange things, nothing bad thankfully but strange.
I have played every one of the quest mods in this video and OMG Vigilant is still my favorite quest mod ever created. Until now nothing has come close to beating it and the fact that Vicn still updates it semi-regularly just makes my heart melt.
I'd recommend using rest by campfire souls like bonfire menu. The base mod adds in usable campfires and the souls like bonefire menu one adds more features such as estus flasks, though they're extremely weak unless you modify it. Not even worth using them without changing how much they heal, full heal at bonfires, leveling from the bonfire, healing, etc
I really appreciate that a ton of the creature mods (if not all of them) are from Mihail - an absolute master of making monsters in Skyrim. Awesome video by the way! Time for a new Skyrim playthrough, I suppose
It takes a lot more work to get the mod working together since the mod listed here has a lot of dependencies/requirement. Imho, would be very awesome if someone do a much more detailed steps on the installation. But still, the quality of your video is top-notch!
yep just spent a loong ass time installing the movement mods and making folders for nemesis, ended up with error message when i run nemesis so no skyrim souls for me i guess
me before watching this video: why does everyone try to replicate dark souls just play dark souls lol me after watching this video: nvm this is art actually
OMG THANK YOU! I am a massive dark souls fan so the second i saw this i got to work. Now that i got everything installed and working, i am having a blast! I truely can not thank you enough!
@@inrptn because u can't turn dark souls into skyrim 1st dark souls engine won't be able to handle it 2nd who would play dark souls modded into skyrim when u can play skyrim modded into dark souls
It would be brilliant if you could share your combined mods - going through all ~35 of them and setting them up might be a big pain, especially for the less tech savvy. Since you got it running already, just making a torrent (I know torrents are associated with illegal stuff, but if you share non-copy-righted stuff like mods it's fine) out of the mods folder (or whatever you slap on top of the game to mod it, I can't remember atm) should only be a few clicks. Please thank you.
This is everything I would ever want in a game. 2 of my most favorite games of all time. My entire childhood was spent playing skyrim and I, more or less, recently fell in love with dark souls. Seeing them together was a beautiful treat I didn't know I needed.
@@OUSTET Only problem is, I have to figure out which of these are compatible with Oldrim, I missed out on Special Edition and now that's probably going to get taken down from Steam with the release of Anniversary Edition :/
Thank you so much burns for these awesome videos and editings !!!!! Truly thank you I can only imagine how hard it is to make perfect videos like this !!! No mod will ever be like *vigilant* IMO unless Vince(the author) surprises us again later on !! (everything about it is just perfect !!! The voice acting both English & Japanese, the story, the design, the characters, boss fights, armors & weapons, the depth of lore & detail and most importantly *the importance of decisions & karma on your whole ending* !!!!! It has like 10 endings if not more !!! insane)
After two days of trying to get Sky UI to show True directional movement and True Hud in the MCM, (I'm using MCM SE 1.3.0 (1.5) with Special Edition, tried manual install of all relavent mods, running Nemesis after each clean install, tried extracting 'configmenu' via BEA, and replacing the .bsa etc.) I'm finally ready to play something else.
I might just use parts of this modpack to create a berserk inspired skyrim. Since both berserk and dark souls are very similar to each other in setting.
I'd also recommend Smooth Camera, which makes the third person camera trail behind your movements a bit instead of making you stay in dead center of the screen.
Thankyou for watching the video! Be sure to let me know what you thought below! And check out the first episode of the Playthrough Here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VK7GFDEQjrg.html :) Also massive thanks to Apex Gaming PC's for Partnering with me to bring you my own line of custom gaming PC's fit to the same specifications im running! If you're in the market for a PC then check out my page here: apexgamingpcs.com/pages/heavy-burns And use Code "Burns" sitewide for 5% off!
The Dragon PC is a massive ripoff. 1100$+ should get you a 3300X (which is like 5-10$ more for an OEM but brings much, much better gaming performacne) CPU at least or even a Ryzen 3600.
This is so amazing that it makes me realize how amazing it would be if Bethesda updated the combat in their games to something similar to Dark Souls. Dark Souls combat + Elder Scrolls world.
Unslaad is actually quite a bit bigger. It’s just the first act ends and doesn’t automatically begin the second act, you have to do some snooping around to begin the second act and from there the questline is quite extensive (And incomplete as Unslaad and Vigilant are part of a trilogy which includes the somewhat-bloodborne inspired Glenmoril mod and Unslaad is intended to be the finale of the trilogy with it’s proper ending waiting to be implemented after Glenmoril is finished). They’re all incredible mods though, I recommend getting all three if you get even one.
Would you consider making a Wabbajack modlist with these mods? People would be able to download everything at the same time with the click of a button!
I'm a bit sad Lorkhans Greatsword Reborn didn't make the cut. If anyone sees this and wants to download it, the sword(s) does come with a enchantment that is baked into it so you'll need the perk to put at least 1 custom enchantment on it. OR You can edit the mod yourself and remove the enchantment, which is exactly what I did lol
Wow an OG! I might one day, just wanted to tidy up my channel page with only videos when i started YT properly, might put a channel in the discord server for old stuff
You forgot the 3rd reason why you made this video, a big part of the mods used in the last one are now private, and thus the mod playthrough can't be done with the last selection of mods.
Do some research before you post nonsense like this next time. Everyone of the mods listed in the description of the previous video are available to download from Nexus.
@@kaindracula2662 Bruh, I literally tried downloading every skyrim mod from the last transforming skyrim into dark souls, and the author of the dark souls combat mod made most of his mods private cause he was bitching about not getting any help or collabs on his work. hold on a minute and I'll get you the exact mod
Awesome editing, love how you have your own recognizable style while still having each of your videos feel unique PS. What armor mod are you using at 5:58 cause I don't recognize it from any of the Souls games
the added creatures appear in base game but the quest mods have their own custom creatures aswell. so if you are just gonna do the quests, dont bother with the creatures too much. Hope this helps!
@@TeamOneDay that’s what I was afraid of. Not that that’s a bad thing, just trying to put together a list exactly like this with dark atmosphere almost like a horror Playthrough lol
@@HeavyBurns absolutely! Have you had the chance to play Glenmoril, yet? I'm holding off until the third act is fleshed out, but I hear it's just as quality as Vicn's other work!
@@vampirebottom third act was finished recently btw, it's the fourth and final act that's still in the works (Glenmoril is definitely Vicn's magnum opus too, you wont be disappointed)
Other Dark Souls-esq quest mods: The Final Cataclysm G.R.I.M. Necromaster Skills (removed for now) Cairnstone Tower (old) (These plus the Vigilant-Unslaad-Glenmoril trilogy, Darkend, and the upcoming Apotheosis)
I see Vigilant and Unslaad, I like the video, it's as simple as that Those mods are the perfect mix of Souls aesthetics and level design with Elder Scrolls lore
