To each his own I guess. The original looks like a cool sturdy atv, yours looks like racecar with an identity crisis, hardly a good gun platform, much less off road. But, while the vision doesnt jive for me, I appreciate the time and quality of the work, so nicely done with that part.

GW sculpts have been on fire recently. When ever I look at this model I'm always just so surprised how this got through.

Commentary and editing were absolutely spot on - lots of personality came through on this vid, 100% sub. If you can get your hands on one to "fix" you could stick with the theme and fix up an attack bike!

I'm echoing what a lot of other people are saying but the production quality of this video alone is immense, then you throw in the kitbash and paint quality as well and it's on another level. Seriously impressive, can't wait to see what you do next!

On a vehicle like an ATV, high weathering makes sense, since it has to drive through far more rugged terrain than most vehicles

Overall good, and better than the base model, but it still needs better ground clearance. That would 100% ground itself on the first steep incline it came across. I'd recommend looking at dune buggies and quad bikes for anyone wanting to fix the ATV. The chassis should be above at least half the wheels ideally, and the front of the vehicle barely further forward than them.

Yeah, that's WAY better than the Batman thing GW release. I just got over wanting any GW SM wheeled vehicles to look even vaguely fit for purpose.

great job converting it, i don't really like the original model but your conversion makes it kind of cool also great start to a channel! i'd just would invest in a better mic, the face cam bits have a pretty rough mic sound

This was a real joy to watch. For an idea what to improve next i would like to see what you come up with those new land speeders... specifically the gunner.

The rear end suspension just looks wrong somehow. Like its too short. And the complete lack of any on the front. How do expect to use those bolters?

Great work! So I have this idea since GW is "retiring" a lot of Firstborn models and traditional Marine Landspeeders are about to disappear. I want to convert a regular Marine Speeder into a counts-as ATV. Would love to see how you would attempt this and especially with your ways of making uniform re-creatable patterns and jigs. Cheers!

Man, I must say your version is so much better than original one. One concern though, it's still nose diving... As you rebuilt the front suspension, why haven't you done it with an angle ? You could have bend the rod at the center just a tiny bit so it would have looked gorgeous don't you think ? Also the rolling cage behind... well, first it won't accomplish its mission in any case as it is so much lower than the operator of the gattling and second, it feels to me like it's suppressing movement capacity for the operator to the side... Anyway, it's clearly so much better than the original one. I like how you handled guns... internal feeding ? of course ! Upper position from the pilot ? of course ! Stonger rear suspension ? You bet ! Credible slope deflector for the driver ? make sense ! Great job !

Overall fantastic build, fun video, lots of great angles and high quality! The final shots are absolutely goals. Video critique - I would recommend a little less jump cutting, overwhelming walls of text/info and fully saturated colors. I think videos like this are cool but I can't share them with my partner who gets motion sick and overwhelmed from visual stimuli. Of course you do you, I'm already subscribed!

I still like the original Invader more tbh, this looks really cool don't get me wrong, but imo the Invader fits Space marines/imperium well, because it has the vibes of those cheap air-dropped bicycles that soldiers used to get from World War 2, very makeshift-looking and disposable, meant only to be used by space marines (which are already tanks) to get around from A->B quickly and discarded if need be. Your version feels like an actual vehicle xD

looks good. But it's a horrible ATV. Too big and heavy for those tiny wheels to support. Front of the car not only slanted towards ground. But also sticks too much ahead of wheel. Which means any elevated surface leads to this atv being stuck on it. Roll Cages for a driver just trap him there. How you expect a space marine if full armor getting out of there?

This just popped up in my feed. Really cool conversion, super slick editing. I personally would have liked the front to be up a bit higher still but this is muuuuch better. Also your self-built plasticard-Parts are gorgeous. Mine always come out a little bit wonky (doesn't matter much, because I mainly use it for orks xD) which does somewhat annoy me xD

Nice paint job but I think I preferred the design of the vehicle before. 'Odd proportions' and 'low ground clearance' are even worse in the new version (the front of the vehicle is just as low but now also sticks out further meaning it'll dig into uneven ground). There's also now no way to aim the front guns. You made it very skillfully (good paint and very neat construction) but imo the new design is weaker. From Mario Kart to Redneck space marine whacky races. Interesting vid though, even if I personally didn't like the end result(it's really just my opinion-lots of other people love it)-Keep up the great work :)

I just turned all wheels 30-45° down. Rear wheels are easy. Just remove them from that drum thing and glue them back on. The fore wheels are a problem. I removed the whole "suspension" and shaved the lower stake to make it 45° and glue it back to where it came from. I have yet to have an idea for connecting the upper stake but it's done regardless. It is a buggy now, with ground clearance. As if it is an ATV or something. I also replaced the gunner with some boxes, because the ATV is joining my bikes as their support.

Instant subscription. But did you noticed lack of dust cover for front wheels and lack of westhering on tyres? Some extra bits like jerry cans, ammo boxes or spare tyre would do nicely. DTV used in Desert Storm also had a portable missile. But regardless, awesome work.

I'll be honest: I prefer the original one. Looks spacy and futuristic and actual usable, not like your run-off-the-mill Buggy as you completly destroyed the vehicles approach angle. You did not even fix the low ground clearance you mentioned at the start. To the pointless roll-cages ... your may be safeer in a roll-over, but i kept wondering if the marine can even get in and out. Besides, the original roll-cage behind the driver is still above his head, so hardly pointless. The ones in the back I'd say are something to hold on anything other than the gun. So, yes, your work and quality and the video is very very good. Just the actual result is something i feel people would have not liked at all if released like this.

I'm going to modify the new release of the newer Elysian Drop Troops Tauros Venator variant that they just shown off for Necromunda, hate the current Space Marine ATV .

I'm sorry but the ground clerance is... Worse, somehow ? Everything looks bent forward, these forward wheels needs to be mounted way down to have more clearance ? On your build, that buggy is eating any rock or bumps directly to the point it looks more dangerous than the previous design xD

There's many models in the SM range that are... not good. This is one of them. Great work in modding this and your video looks great. Is there anyway to improve Grimnar's Santa Anti-Grav Sled and the Centurions? :D

Kinda looks more like one of those hill karts now, with 0 front suspension and even less ground clearance (front getting stuck on everything. And the original model didn't have roll cage. Just something to hold onto and the bar behind the driver was high enough to actually work as a proper roll cage. Front end of the original could use some work sure, but to make it look less like ATV capable wouldn't be it, unless just going for the looks (which are subjective of course and each to their own). Now, for something orkish that transformed version would be proper, it does look like it would fit the bill perfectly 😁 But as far as off roading and "all terrain" vehicles go, original at least looked it could perform without useless added weight. But as conversions go, if that's what you enjoy playing or doing then that's enough reason for it to be awesome.

Mildly amusing, the subtibles abbreviated Methyl Ethyl Ketone as MEC. (Also holy shit you can still get MEK where you are? its been removed from most places here and we dont even use it as a cleaning solvent in priting anymore, that stuff is really really not good for you.

Cool kitbash. I always wonder why those ATVs are that flat on the ground. I think a pick up would have been nicer for big E's favorit space warriors. :)

cool, so you took away all the ground clearance _ensuring_ that it does a bloody endo as soon as it meets the first bump or rock in the road... you _didn't_ fix anything.. made a cool hot-rod for on smooth flat surfaces, but totally ruined it functionally as a war buggy. Function before fasion. 2/10

Personally I think the zenithol was maybe a bit too heavy, I had a little bit of difficulty differentiating the natural highlights (until the weathering). But other than that I think everything is 10/10. I may attempt this myself

very cool stuff! For the gap filling, have you tried Tamiya Putty Basic Type? that stuff is magix for gap filling, doesnt need to be mixed, dries fast and sands like a dream!

Cool ideas but to my taste the white material might lack so edge sharpness to match with the orginal plastic pieces (would probably fit much better with the Orks world) and overall the style you chosed actually is too much "realistic" like in similar to today's technology, whereas the original design clearly tries to be more innovative and futuristic. Great craftmanship though, no question about that !

Easiest way to build a Primaris ATV is to use the landspeeder as the base. Hobbyists have been using using that to create "4-wheel drive" lanspeeders since the 90s.

Great job, how it's possible that some kitbashes are better than the original? Perhaps the front wheels are a little too low, but generally it's a very good looking vehicle. (Naturally a version with a remote controlled weapon would be great!)

The original is more plausible. Plus your design makes bullets skid into the space marine's face. While caging the marine. How is he supposed to get out of there?

looks great, just the suspension looks weird and bit non-functional to me - if you move back wheels and lift chassis in back, it will inevitably cause front of the car to dig into ground. (unless purpose of the suspencion on back wheels is meant not to change angle (and thus ground clearance) depending on where they ride.

Have you tried grillaput greenstuff/milliput mix usally 80% greenstuff 20% milliput gives it great flexibility like greenstuff and easy sanding like milliput and can hold its structure excellent for thing like capes and fabric.
